The official Forum really suck! Last Saturday I talked about my feeling of missing Russell and I want him back, and they delete my post. 10 minutes later, some suck sent me a message and said :"Sorry, we have to delete your post like many others, keep waiting, we have some official things come out soon."
What kind of F is that? Is there anything wrong for me to share my feelings? They even don't let people show their feeling of the game? I rarely post anything in both TTLG and T4 forum, and for the first time I post something for good, they just delete my post??? F!

Well, let's face it: publisher forums are there to generate community and goodwill in support of that publisher's business strategy. Expecting them to be free of corporate censorship is... I dunno. Over-optimistic?

@bjc - you're not alone, there have been many reports of this happening. It's disappointing and you'd think if EM was so sure on their new voice actor, they wouldn't feel the need to censor people's opinions.

Well said, Melan and Brethren. I think too many of us have made the mistake of joining EM forums thinking it was just like TTLG. Wrong. TTLG doesn't have any agendas.

Posts are only very gently hidden by Eidos' team of diligent and ever-wise community managers if they break the forum's terms of usage by resorting to hate speach, slander, actualy physical violence or are in some other way undesirable.
Oh wait, sorry, I thought I was someone else for a moment.

I fully support EM's decision, and I look forward to hearing more about anything to do with Thief 4 from them. :D
Woah, jay, it must be going around... :eww:

The bigger the company, the worse the forum. I haven't seen many good "official forums". I don't know what it is with big companies, maybe they have strict guidelines on PR that don't translate at all into reality. This coupled with volunteers working as mods, the quality is often ever-changing.
On the other hand, I would never want to moderate a message board like that, because the shit-flinging and idiocy is of utmost volume.

OK, things get worse now. All the things about Stephen Russell and the petition were deleted on both Wikipedia "Thief" and the official thief youtube channel. Although they did not change things on Russell's wiki, they also delete the petition part. These MFs are doing the worst thing to cover their mistakes. And that is the thing they called to be a "Thief come back"? No Way!

This is why I like TTLG and other unofficial forums. We can speak our minds and the publishers can't do anything about it.

While I'm not up in arms about Russell not voicing Garrett, I'd have to agree that if "some suck" delete your post it is most certainly "F". :erg:
