And since the Keepers were about Balancing the power between the Factions so they wouldn't tear The City apart between them, the current lack of Factions makes being a True Keeper moot, if the canon has anything to do with it, and without them, he can't nudge them to action to stand against the corrupt nobility in the Baron--if the canon has anyth--
Well, in the TEEF Universe, we know there's a ninja assassin character who happens to be named Garrett...so perhaps the Pagans will be hippies, and the Hammers, their friends.

Buildin' the happy book writing commune, and making a bonfire and passing out the 'shrooms, and readin' crazy poetry about the Builder's taming of the wild and Trickster's am the honeymaker.

...All united as one, against that homicidal, quasi-undead ninja character, who calls himself Garrett.

I'm almost willing to bet it's a damned Quest Finder.
It's mentioned in the Game Informer article.
Its a medallion that somehow interacts with runes in one of the missions. How is everyone missing this?

You people really still have your mind stuck in the 90's era. You know, most gamers are busy people (even KIDS, who have tests and exams every week just like me for example), and they don't have too much time to waste, especially on videogames, so they just want to sit and directly enjoy the game experience without having to force their heads and keep searching everywhere to accomplish a particular quest or have to watch a walkthrough each 5 minutes.

I think you haven't a clue who you're talking to...Because if you did, you would never say such a thing.

Yeah, that's called being a "casual gamer"...which is fine. It's just that THIEF shouldn't be turned into a casual game...There are plenty of other
inherently designed casual games to fulfill this purpose.
Robert4222 on 20/3/2013 at 09:08
I understand, but if the game doesn't include (let's say) "casual and modern elements", it won't attract gamers, and the sales will be low, and that would mean the end of the series and in the worst scenario the bankruptcy of EM
Plus, why can't I enjoy thief as a semi-casual game (because it won't be at 100% casual) just like Dishonored? Exploration and special loot search for hard-core and purists and on the other hand only fulfilling main quests for casual people, it won't hurt anybody.
Also, being a casual gamer doesn't mean that I like those plenty of other inherently designed casual games. Thief is really one of the rare videogames that I enjoy a lot while playing it

90s? Where do you taffers come up with this stuff?
What year did TMA come out? What year did TDS come out? Part of Thief's special appeal is that it didn't condescend to the player--at first--and the one of the three that did has quite a different fanbase.
