Of course it looks like it wouldn't find north. Or south. And probably not east or west, either. Hell, I think it may even have a problem with up or down. But no worries; a gay, magical, emo Ninja with a penchant for boosting things has no need for such a tool. HE CAN JUST FEEL WHICH WAY HE'S GOING USING HIS MAGICAL POWERS OF DIRECTIONAL VISION!

I'm really amazed how people are extreme purists of the Thief series. God damm'it, it is just a videogame. Personally I really love the dark atmosphere similar to DS and the victoria era elements which reminds a lot Dishonored. Don't expect that this game will satisfy all your whims and that it wil stay as close as the classic series in terms of gameplay, because it will add modern elements like platforming, glyph powers and the ability to easily kill guards (but not too many) as in Assassin's creed 2.
Maybe (and probably) you won't like it, it won't have that unique touch that makes the game special, but at least it will atract a large range of public and it will be nominated as the best game of the year
