Sound problem with t3edit?
I know that there are several problems concerning the sound within t3edit but when i installed it i think it stop my sound working at all, as in for the pc when it was running or not running the editor.
i took me a few days messing around with drivers and every sound setting under the sun before i eventually used angle pc restore to get it working again.
didn’t think at the time that it would have been the editor but in retrospect it makes most sense as it was the only thing that changed on the pc before the problem.
my sound chip is a realtec ac97 onboard, pretty standard but the computer just refused to recognise its existence at all.
So i was wondering before i think about reinstalling t3edit whether this was a known issue or if anyone ells had had the same problem?

Never say never, but I can't see how the editor would disable sound completely on your PC! I'm not aware of anyone else having that problem either.

Yes, it sounds a bit like a coincidence - if you can remember installing anything else at a similar time it might help in finding what went wrong.

Guess it must have been a coincidence cos I just reinstalled it and everything’s running fine. But I was so sure, seems an unlikely coincidence as it’s the only thing I did. But a guess I can just be happy.

When working with PCs you can never count out coincidence. If your sound's going to go out (or any other odd problem), it has to happen SOMETIME, and whatever you were doing you'll think that was the cause, when really it could always just be the odd timing :)
