After installing the T3Ed there are new folders. And one of them is called sounds. There are all sounds in Thief 3. But they are ".sch" files and i cant open them. Is there any program which can open them?

sch files are schema files, they don't actually play the sound just give it certain properties. If you poke around the editor a bit more, you'll find the sounds are already extracted into other folders.

The .sch files are sound schemas - just text files you can open with notepad. Most of the actual sounds are in the metafiles higher up the directory structure, and can be exported and listened to via sounddrone.

What do you mean with "metafiles"?

just the names - SchemaMetafile_*.csc

I just tested it - that's at 13:28 GMT+1, 22nd June 2005 - and it worked for me. DXIW Sound Drone beta, 960Kb. Might be one of those evil DL limit things, so maybe you just need to check back later to be able to get it.

I downloaded it a while back and couldn't get it to work - it complained that it couldn't find the schemas, despite me pointing it at them repeatedly.
From this (and the fact that most sounds do not play, even if I start up the ordinary game), I concluded that my schemas are broken and require reinstalling. :P But if anyone has an alternate explanation I'd be glad to hear it.
Going to try reinstalling now...
