New garrett animationsby ascottk
FIXED:* Substituted fidget animations for idles. (3rd person reimplemented). Thanks, jtbalogh!
* Fixed leaning animations for bow draws (still not perfect)
* Fixed the cancelling of a drawn bow (I probably forgot to add note-track info)
*Remember to back up your files!*(

garrett_09_3rd.psa
CONTENT\T3\SkeletalMeshes:Garrett_08.pro
Garrett_08.ski (text file telling t3ed which *.psa files the skeletal mesh uses)
System:T3PlayerAnims.ini
New/Modified animations:GAR_BA_draw-new
GAR_BA_hand_loop
GAR_BA_undraw-new
GAR_UA_IDL_breathe-new
GAR_UA_IDL_crouchbreathe-new
GAR_UA_MOV_crouchlean_LFT_*-new (end, loop, start)
GAR_UA_MOV_crouchlean_RGT_*-new (end, loop, start)
GAR_UA_MOV_lean_LFT_*-new (end, loop, start)
GAR_UA_MOV_lean_RGT_*-new (end, loop, start)
GAR_UA_NAV_FWD*-new (2, 2_5, 3, 4)
Possible issues:Mainly the bow animations. They're a little rough going to/from the idle positions. Also I didn't test how they are while moving.
The new leans:

Cool.
Two questions though:
1 - what do we do with them (just install over the defaults I assume)?
2 - if they're any use/I like them (you know how fussy I am), can I bundle them with my current WiP map?

Just extract to the editor's main directory.

You need to generate the ibt files. The animations are contained in Kernel_GFXALL.

Very nice...VERY nice. :) Now this is how Garrett should have moved from T3's release. Great job ascottk. The bow and arrow work fine while moving by the way...and from first person (where it all really counts...he he..) I didn't notice any real problems with the animations. Fantastic. I will definately inlude your new animations in a 1.5 Minimalist revision.
I'll keep testing and let you know if I find any problems.
New Horizon....out.

Great work!!! Do you know yet how to implement these into the default t3-install... So that I could replay T3 the way it was meant to be?
New Horizon, hurry about with that!! ;)

If the animations are in the Kernel_GFXALL ibt file, you could probably hex edit them out and the game should dynamically load the new animations.
I'll test it out. Might be the quickest fix for now. If I recompiled the Kernel_GFXALL ibt I might be able to create a small binary patch...just depends how different the data in the recompiled ibt is vs the vanilla T3 editor.

Is there a link to get the T3 enhanced editor? I do not want to use the vanilla editor for this test.

I'll PM it to you. I'm currently doing some extra tweaking to the enhanced editor so it's offline. Hmmm, I can't seem to send you any PM's....you're on radio silence. :) Can you PM me an address where I can send you the link? I don't want to post it publicly since this is the old version of enhanced and I don't want it spreading around.

:) Whoops, radio silence no more ...

Leaning looks fantastic, but the movement is where I'm most interested.
I don't know how to test this, but I'll be the first in line to install it once it's ready. :D
