This is just something little that's been annoying me for a while - that buttons don't move, they just sit there and click. Anyway, here's how to fix it:
Open the static mesh browser and open PIPE_ELECTRICAL-MECHANICAL -> Buttons. Select BUTTON_diamond. Down in the bottom left corner of the browser in the 'Physics Hull' box, the tickbox 'None' is selected. Click on 'Exact' ('None' will be deselected automatically). Now do exactly the same thing to the meshes BUTTON_rectangle, BUTTON_round, BUTTON_square and BUTTON_triangle. This will allow the buttons to move.
Now open up the actor class browser and find the actor WorldObj -> Moving -> AttachmentSliding -> DiamondButtonMover. Give it the property Physics -> DoorController -> DoorSpeed: 0.5. Do the same thing for the actors RectanglrButtonMover, RoundButtonMover, SquareButtonMover and TriangleButtonMover.
Find the actor WorldObj -> Environmental -> Switch -> DiamondButton and open its links window. Edit the SlidingAttachment link. Expand its properties to Physics, and set them to:
m_lip: 0
m_slideAxis -> X: 0
m_slideAxis -> Y: -1
m_slideAxis -> Z: 0
m_slideFriction: 0
Now do the same to the SlidingAttachment links on the actors RectangleButton, RoundButton, SquareButton and TriangleButton.
Just one more thing to do. Open the trigger script browser and find the script GameObjects -> ButtonPush. Select it and click Edit. One of its Actions is 'Delay 1.00 GAME seconds'. Change that '1.00' to '0.25'.
And that's it. Save your scripts, save the gamesys, and any new buttons you place (and hopefully any existing ones) will move as if you have pressed them, just like in T2.
EDIT: It seems this messes up existing buttons (they slide in the wrong direction). Deleting them and placing new ones fixes this.

I guess you could use a combination of elevators for the moving scenery and teleporter volumes so it repeats itself. You'd need a few triggerscripts too, and probably a lot of links. Its definitely possible.

(EIDOS, just look at all of those "Not Done" T3 needs and wants!)
So, to EIDOS. . .
What's new, you Lara Croft butt-kissing English Taffers?
And what are you going to do about T3, now, mates?
So, is a DOSe of T3 something that we really don't want to buy into?
Or to simply tell ALL of our friends about NOT buying it, perhaps?
(And I have a few ZILLION friends through my groups, below.) :ebil:
Also, over all, I will really have a very difficult time starting a "Thief 3 Forever" group with this lack of effort from those still selling their practically abandoned Thief Deadly Shadows (T3) product. :confused:

Dude, I highly doubt anyone from Eidos reads these boards, you might want to try forums.eidosgames.com for that. You might also want to clean up your post, I had a difficult time trying to make sense of what you were trying to say. ;)
