Only noobzorinas use Catalysts, go for the Omegas.
Why? I've used both in the past and I've experienced no changes either way. Just recently I swapped over to Omega just to see if the Thief crashes would stop and guess what? They dont.
It makes little to no difference which drivers you use and really it's based on whatever game you're playing, there's no hard and fast rule of "this one is better then the other".

Card: Sapphire Radeon 9800 Pro
Catalyst: 4.12
OS Windows XP Professional
Symptoms: T3Ed crashes whenever I subtract more than one brush with the brushes (or the builder brush) being visible in the 3D view. If I build without them being visible I can build more, but it crashes immediately if I rotate the 3D view to look at what I've built. It happens as soon as the smallest bit of a brush comes into view...

So far i haven't got any crashes but than again i haven't gotten very far with the tutorials yet. I am (
http://www.planetunreal.com/architectonic/tutorials/first_level_part4.html#BSPStairs) here.
I haven't tried building more than one builder brush at a time so i have to try and see what happens.
Edit:Added 3 stairs and 4 rooms, before pushing the button "build all" but no crashes. (If this is it, by meaning building more at a time that is?)

Is there a way Radeon users without T3Ed problems could exchange their driver / registry settings with others who have problems without cluttering up the forum? I also mean the hidden settings you can only access with a tweaker. I have Rage3D Tweak 3.9b installed and its help file says it can export and import custom profiles, but it doesn't work for me (the menu items are not there). That would be an easy way to exchange and test driver settings vie email. Any other (working) ideas?

Two things in my brief experience with the editor:
I've found that you can't select brush faces in the 3D view [edit] without first rebuilding the BSP. [/edit]
If you subtract a brush directly adjacent and lined up with another subtraction brush of the same size, the editor hangs.
I have a Radeon 9600 w/ Catalyst v5.1
