Hey guys I have been looking through posts for about 3 hours now and tried everything they say about making it so T3 will work, but all I can do install the game and when I go to start the game it starts to load then stops I checked the task manager and it runs for like 3 seconds then crashes out no message pops up or anything I have tried uninstalling and re-installing, using the no-cd crack about a good 8 different versions from different sites, I can't even install the patch 1.1, I disabled user account controls...EVERYTHING. I run Windows 7 64-bit, 2GB DDR3, Intel Celeron 2.2 GHz, and I have directX 11. someone please give me a straight up way of fixing this ANNOYING problem, I haven't played the game since it came out and decided to give it another go around and its quite depressing not being able to :(

Firstly, disable UAC. Then install Thief 3 (as administrator) in a directory other than the two "Program Files" directories. Then run Thief 3 (again as administrator) with only 1 CPU core. Hopefully that should work.

Looks like a DEP issue. To disable DEP, open the Command Prompt with Administraror privileges, then type the following:
bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff
Then restart the PC.

Sorry guys I already tried both of those things, I just tried the installing in a different area again and still a no go. Sorry I had forgotten to mention that I already disabled DEP and I'm pretty sure I had said that I disabled the UAC...

Hmm, what graphics card do you have? I know you say you have a DirectX 11 one, but you need Pixel Shader 2.0 to run the game.
Other than that, I don't know of anything else that could be an issue :(
