There should not be any problem right after finishing the mission. However, slightly later when getting back into the library is the next mission, you should be able to climb through a window above the usual entrance.

I presume you mean "getting back to the library after Orland accuses you of murder." Where are you stuck?
Day 6 goes roughly as follows:
1. After the Enforcers start hunting you, go to Ramien's house in Old Quarter. Find a note there.
2. Go to your apartment in South Quarter. Find another note there.
3. Return to Old Quarter and enter the Fort Ironwood graveyard. A cutscene will play.
4. Proceed to Stonemarket. Use the climbing gloves to enter the Keeper Library through the window over the door.
EDIT: Nevermind. Beaten to it.

Thanks so much Belen. I'd never have spotted that window. The glyph opened a store room so l thought it must be elsewhere. xx
