Does anyone remember who has the key for the scribes room because I have knocked out or killed all but those who are in the council room and I cannot find the key? And also I must be blind because I cannot find the hatches in any of the rooms that everyone is talking about I have been to every room on the same floor as the scribes room but I cannot find the hatches!! Could some one show me a screenshot?

..Just get on in there and start a jumpin at them there ceilings...the hatches are camoflaged but highlite when youre at them.there is no key for the scribes room as far as I remember you access it through another way.Thelvyn on 20/11/2009 at 00:27
Ok so there is a secret door over a bookcase that leads to the balconys on the right side of the council room and theres a switch at the end of that hallway
so I have gathered from reading this up till now but ill be damned if I can find the secret door

I am getting this when installing the fm.
I am rechecking my install and most likely putting all back to original, then back it up and try again.
why does the runtime error 9 happen? there were not many save games for T3 to backup.

UPDATE, reinstalled, 2 save games in place, and same problem happens installing the fm, even after redownloading the fm and trying again in case of corrupted download. anyone have an idea?

Could you be more specific please ?Go to the
plaque that reads "Scribes Room" and go through that doorway...follow the little passage to the end and it looks like a dead end,on the left side is a switch... try that:)

Stuck again I still cannot find the way into the scribes room!! I have been to all the rooms up thru the two ceiling hatches where in the HECK do I go from here???:grr:

pwl...did you get through the sliding panel by the scribes room and get into the chest for the rubber gloves yet....if you did as your post 2 above implies then
find the bookcase with the return switch to reopen the sliding bookcase... jump above that bookcase with the switch in it and a trapdoor should highlite...open it and then mantle up there to get to the scribes room..you dont need any crates there.

Yeah!!! I finally finished this really great FM. I really had some problems.
Jonescrusher, I know you told me about that far room on the right and I had gone there several times and could not find that opening. Then after that my game crashed and I had to reinstall T3 and GL. Then my savegames got lost and I had to start over again. But when Cattamer confirmed my question about the 3rd opening, I knew where it had to be...I almost never got up there. Had to get 3 crates to make it. This FM was one of the most difficult ones for me, but I can't wait to find Krellek in the next part {I hope}.
Couldn't have finished this game without a lot of determination and help from you taffers.
