Well, still cannot find key to the room just outside council room.(Door with loot above) I have searched the elevator shaft in council room and been through the grate under elevator to the room with 2 guys sitting at a table but found no key. I also don't know who The Priest Greidus is. Maybe he is through the door I can't open? Please help want to finish this mission!

As far as I remember one of them had a key. Never can be too sure anyway.
Greidus can be found
around the starting area.

I've read the 5 pages of this thread 20 times I know. However, I still cannot find the secret room or the chronicles. I've done everything else, I think. I have 87% loot. I've been in the rooms on both sides of the round room in the beginning. I've killed everyone except the people in the Council room. I visited both rooms outside the council room. I got on right balcony in Council room, but I had to jump down. I went to the weapons room, the Scribes room, the secret passage in the Scribes room, all the rooms on both sides of the same hallway, up in the ceiling of the last room into what seems to be another living area, I couldn't get in to the back hall with the crate up there. I got the eye. I also found the way out. Can someone just point me in the right direction.:eww:

have you visited Odin's office?
did you get Martin's ring?
did you find the room in the council room (not the secret room)?
For the secret room:
in the chambers corridor there is another room with a hatch (not scribes). have you found that room?
