Ayup! :thumb:
I took the plunge and succeeded at downloading the smallest of the three files made available today, the 17Mb one (no disconnects thankfully). Fired up my loader, uninstalled my WIP mission, installed ascottk's... started up T3... got nervous... saw the briefing, read the objectives, dove in, and...
Viola, there I am standing in a T3 FM. It works! :) Now to go try it out.

Freaky, man, freaky. :)
The only technical problem I noticed at all was that some of the sound clips were getting cut short. I think I've read that once before on this board, hmm.
Are all of those conversations and schemas included just to make it work on a non-editor install of T3? If that is the bare essentials, it's not bad at all, and could probably be detected for and pre-installed by the loader program(s).

GREAT, SIMPLY GREAT!!
I downloaded 'Krellek's Labyrinth' FM as I am on dial-up and can't download much larger files. I was not sure if I could play it without any Loader program, but I decided to give it a try nonetheless. I just followed the instructions (from the included readme file) and started the game in anticipation. And then I click on 'New Game'...
Now I can read the briefing...wow. The premise seems intriguing...Keeper enforcers. They surely will be seen in number of upcoming FM's, anwyays. And then click on Start...
Now I am actually in the mission!! :)
The dancing shadows of fireplace perfectly sets the mood...its been really long since I played T3 and I am already in the Thief-y mood.
The architecture has decidedly retro touch. Whosoever said that T3 engine cannot create T2 like ambience should play this mission. Even the screenshot posted on this thread resemble that of some T2 FM. Its really like any another T2 FM only with wayyy better graphics and dynamic shadows. However, I personally don't enjoy traveling thru series of hallways much. I understand that this is a test mission, so with the final version, hopefully it will be more tight...
I haven't played it fully and there are some technical anomalies, like objectives are not showing up fully, but again, its a test-mission anyways.
I really liked what I saw and want to congratulate ascottk for the great work! :thumb: I am yet to try other 2 FM's but this mission seems a nice showcase for Flesh engine and its promising features.
Thanks, ascottk!

How on Earth can I download this file from (
http://rapidshare.de/) ??? I click on the link, select free download and... nothing happens...

Bukary - I don't understand the question. If you click on his link at the top it takes you to the specific page for the zip, then click on the button labelled "Free" at the bottom of the page. The page will change (very slightly) to say please wait X seconds, then after that change again to an actual download link. There is no way to browse through Rapidshare, so you have to use a link straight to a file.
Ascottk - I dl'd the labyrinth, and it goes (though the briefing and game are inconsistant with stuff the player has, and the goals only show up ingame if you remember to turn blockloading back on - which frankly I was a moron for not doing, though with that the modified assassin works, despite me not having minimalist at all), but also maybe important is that if I extract my zip back over it I go back to my level - now we just need a 'default' zip to replace any guff we put in!

Thanks for the feedback everyone! It's encouraging :thumb: !

I cut them short. I altered the script so the timing wouldn't cut them short but the emotional impact I going for wasn't there.

. . .though the briefing and game are inconsistant with stuff the player has . . .
I'll look into that. Easily fixable I hope.

I think the Entry map, the conversations folder, the Books\English\String_Tags folder, & the Flags.txt need a default zip at least for the FMs with no customs. The rest of the stuff are mainly additions:
The briefings/debriefings *.sch, *.con, FM.ibt & FM.gmp.

I hope you will upload these files at ThiefMissions.COM
EDIT:
Keepers Training is avaible for download at ThiefMissions. But why is it not ZIPed? Could anyone upload ZIP of this file? It should probably reduce its size by 30-40%. Am I right?
ascottk on 14/6/2005 at 16:19
You can find Keeper's Training without the ibt file zipped (with all the editable resources) at the top of this thread. The ibt file itself is on thiefmissions.
I didn't think about zipping the ibt file until I got to bed :p .
I will send the finished Labyrinth to thiefmissions. Just a reminder: it's only a work in progress. My plans extend beyond this map (I think it'll be only 1/3 of a total mission) but Krellek's Labyrinth can & will be a self contained mission. After this map is fully realized then I will expand it & add custom resources to tell a thief-world-related mission. The main character won't be Garrett but it'll relate to Garrett's world.

Thanks, ascottk! Unfortunately, I have problems with downloading anything from RapidShare. :(
BTW, congrats on releasing these demo missions! :thumb:
