I think we should wait a while after T2X has been released to see how much traffic it'll generate. If it turns out to be so much that it clutters up the Fan Missions forum, then setting up a dedicated forum for it might be a good idea.
After all, it is a Fan Mission (albeit a huge one). I suspect that we'll see one (beg'n your pardon) big-ass thread about it, and a few others. How much additional discussion that is not related to your typical FM issues (where's that key/switch etc., how do I get to X, where's that piece of loot) do we think that T2X is going to generate? Probably some, but enough to warrant a new forum?
I don't know. But I suggest the best way is to wait and see, and then act.

mol, it's not a fan mission.
It's a fan campaign and has 13 missions. That is way, way different to a normal fan mission. It's the size of a full Thief game. (Although I don't know how but the missions are).
I vote a new T2X spoiler forum is made.

What I am saying is, that although it is a huge campaign (I do know it perfectly, I've been waiting for it for years), it is a Fan Mission in the sense that it's made with Dromed by the fans for the fans, for free. Therefore, basically the discussion would suit the Fan Missions forum perfectly. We don't know how much discussion it's going to generate. We assume a lot. Yet it may be manageable within a few threads. If T2X generates significant amounts of comments that deal with other aspects of it than simply getting help with playing it, then it might be justified to set up an entirely new forum for it.
I just wouldn't set up a new forum before we know. But the decision is not up to me.
Oh, and in my book, the term 'Fan Mission' is not a disparaging or belittling word in the slightest. Quite the opposite. :thumb:

We won't be setting up a new forum, we'll be moving the existing T2X forum from Hosted Projects into Thief Series.

All I mean was it is not 'a' mission, it is much larger than that. Of couse you know this. It is highly anticipated and I think it will generate many threads. There is no harm in creating a seperate forum in anticipation.
But if you do not create one and then have to alter things and shift all the T2X threads over isn't that more hassle?
