-nothing worthwhile in the hdmod version of miss27, he replaced a harlot with a nude harlot (turns out Dark nudity is not something I need in my life), and tampered with mesh attach on a few models? either way, we can set the hdmod build aside, and that's good.
-one broken, and a few missing objects. one missing script module (defense.osm). few lights have a max brightness of 0. need to investigate all of these.
-all levels are stripped. if the unstripped versions exist, they should be acquired and included in the build.
-is darkhooks still needed? iirc, this was an oldDark thing. if not, remove the dll.
-custom NVscript build is loaded (nvt2x.osm). unless this is completely custom, this should be replaced by the standard build. need to ask NV.
-does anyone know what script.osm is? I think it's public scripts, there is an updated version in the T2Fix osm folder. should be updated if that's the case.
-not seeing any cut down EP.CRF anywhere. no rogue cfgs either.
-t2x.exe unnecessary, should be removed or stored in a backup folder.
-dynamic skies are indeed those I made ages ago. they look fitting so I would keep them, but ideally find out why City Sleeps and Cure have those awful gradients, and fix if possible.
-water is the old original hires water, wouldn't mind a better version so I'm open to suggestions. or maybe just remove it and let the user load a water mod if desired (this probably is the best solution).
-the first missions has the light orb active, even though it's unusable. very sure ND scripting allows to hide it, would be ideal here.
yes, nvt2x.osm should be standard (and very outdated) NVscript. needs to be replaced with the latest build, and made to use the regular filename to prevent issues in the future (the way T2Fix loads extra scripts is probably preventing issues from happening even now, but no reason to not fix this properly).
yes, T2 water should be removed from the build, and the user should be left to manage any water mods via the modmanager. NecroAge and EP2 will need a tiny fingerprint update to allow this.

the missing crate models don't seem to be a problem, the archetype has a model defined so the game just fallbacks to that. I guess the rogue prop could be removed from the concretes just for the sake of not being annoying in the editor.
the T2Fix FMdml package includes T2x fixes. whatever ends up the "final" dml package, should be included both in the standalone T2x zip, and FMdml as well. some people are running manual T2 installs (no T2Fix), while that may be unsupported, minimal effort to allow them to run the expansion should be made.
