The links in the first post actually allow you to download two different versions of "Rose Cottage". The first link leads to the newer one from 2012, the others link to the 2009 version. The first one is hosted at thiefmissions.com, and the text there just says that some bug fixes were applied.

I doubt anyone knows exactly what changed in it, there's no discussion of what was in it on the testing forum and I didn't even have a copy of that version :O
The only obvious change is a newer version of nvscript.
V2 contained a bunch of fixes for various things, some more decorative objects, changes to some of the readables and think a couple of new ones to make it a little clearer what was going on at a few points people found confusing and non obvious.

I played both versions, but only on easiest difficulty level and without caring much for any optional tasks/goals such as this tarot card stuff. I did not notice anything being different. Thus, it probably is no big deal. But since Yandros wrote he was looking for the
final version, I thought it could be beneficial to mention that there are two different versions available. And if anyone plans to continue with his/her old savegames, that information could come in handy as well. Otherwise, it may not be very important.

absolutely amazing mission but i gotta know.. the music that plays towards the end of the mission,is it from the soundtrack of "mystery case files:return to ravenhearst"? it is amazing!

Just a quick question. I found a book at the end of the treasure hunt with ultraviolet light. It highlights but when frobbed nothing happens. Is there anything that's supposed to happen with it?? Otherwise excellent mission that I have played multiple times since it was released. I just don't remember what that book was frobbable for?

My notes say that the treasure hunt should lead to a book with some drawings by the daughter. These are meant to be a first hint to the mystery of the five ghosts haunting the place. Later on, the player is supposed to find a dead man with an explanation of what happened with the people whose ghosts are around. Apparently, the book you found is the one with the daughter's drawings. No idea why nothing happens when you frob it.
