How can they do that when its an original 'production', and you have permission for it? And no one here's ever complained about mirroring their missions around and about?? I used to like mediafire, but they seem to arbitrarily pick on files and jump on users, even if those files were entirely created by the user. I don't get it.

It would probably take something more than just his word about having permission. However, I'm sure you taffers will find another way to get it downloadable somewhere. :cool: Thank goodness I've got my copy a long time ago and still watch it from time to time as it's such a great intro for a credits to a fine FM that was ever made for Thief! Hey there, sorry for bumping this thread but I have something I've got to say...
Saturnine, you're an amazing artist. I heard you are now in the game dev somewhere, I hope you're continuing to use that talent in the best way possible.
I've just finished playing through Rose Cottage for the first time with no information about what it was. I started at around 3am and played until morning... And oh my goodness was it worth it. What an incredible piece of art this mission is! I just wanted to thank Saturnine and everyone on this project for providing the Thief community with such an incredible experience as Rose Cottage. The entire design and atmosphere is simply an outstanding work of art that captivated me instantly and didn't let go until the very end. What's more, as I was playing at those unusual hours, the sun started to come up just as the mission was ending... can you imagine that!
Beautiful and from now on one of my most memorable Thief experiences!

He only played 3am - dawn and it was his first time, so I'm guessing no. Finding all those sonsobitches is tricky.

I remember doing a speed run in the later testing stages in a tick over 15 minutes. I think CZ managed it even quicker.

Only found about 5 of them. At first I thought it was Caitlin that was hiding them around and that this was her 'treasure hunt'. Then I found one on the roof and was like... "wait a minute..." :D

No worries at all. This forum is unlike most places on the web. We actually prefer that you bump old threads rather than start a new one for the same mission. It doesn't matter how old the thread is or how long it's been since the last post. We prefer to keep all questions, answers, comments and info about any given mission in one thread. It makes it easier for everyone to find what they need.

Yep...a complete run. I actually poked around with it today. I'm using 1.21 and the UV light wasn't working. First time playing RC with new dark. Much smoother frame rate but perhaps I've found another problem.
