I was left with the impression (don't know if it's right) that the
doll or the
girl killed the accomplice...
That is not correct. I've sent you a PM. In regards to the
doll. Did you go back into Caitlin's room in the end? .
BA - that was the FIRST thing I noticed and it made me stop dead in my tracks. :D

I couldn't help being somewhat devastated when I
read the newpaper in the attic and realized what it meant. .
Well, either it's language barrier or I might be not so bright after all, because I am not certain what
ablaze means in this context. Could anyone explain?

The doll sits at the table again. I suppose it means that the house is not haunted anymore. Is there something more to it?

Hah, I just discovered something new. Anyone turn on the dining room light? :sly:
I think I did. But I did not notice anything unusual.

Check my post two above yours. I tested it for some time, and I could not make
the font tip over by running or walking into it from any direction.
You missed the point, I think. You're not an AI...

It only occurs the first time you turn on the lights and occurs only once. Go to a save game where you have never turned the lights on...

It means that it
it is on fire.I thought that it was some kind of reference to the author (Saturnine). :o But I see it just means that
this great mansion is no more avaible for looting. ;)

Sadly, in a lot of beautiful FMs, I notice that the drawback is often lag and choppiness, however Rose Cottage seems to contain the most choppiness I've ever seen in a FM--I don't think there's any area of the mission where there isn't lag of some kind. (not even CoSaS: MissionX was this bad!)
I know the problem is on my end, though, so I was wondering if there's any way to fix this or improve it at least? If so, I'll go make a post in the troubleshooting forums.
I fear this is something I'll have to live with, though. :(

What are your system specs?

Lowering the resolution and turning off some of the beautifying effects in the graphics driver helped when I was trying to play it with video recording.
We are way beyond anything LGS ever did with dark though, so unfortunately it does require a somewhat more modern computer than t2 did :(
(for reference the pc I tested on is a ~2800+ athlon xp with lots of ram an an ati x1650)
