This was a very big mission. Lots of places to explore, caves, woods, water. I found it very challenging as I never really knew where I was or where I was going. Every time I thought I would give up, I discovered another area that grabbed my interest. I thought the mines/caves were well done and very confusing. Somehow I finished the objectives and found my way back out.
Overall, this was a pretty good mission. I liked the mines and thought all the scenery changes made it interesting game play. I have done caves/mines but mine always seemed boring and easy to navigate. These were confusing which made it more fun. I always like Hammers and the use of elevation which this mission did well.
Thanks for a fun few hours (actually 3 hours, but I am a slow player).

I quit playing Thief for 6+ months.
When I returned, I accidentally downloaded this mission (again) and played it (again).
This mission is very good. I enjoy getting lost in a huge map.
The second time I played this. it was just as fun as the first time, which is very rare for me.
This mission gives me that "I am playing Thief for the first time" feeling. It's a very good feeling.
Thanks for making this FM.

I've never had any issues with T2 FM's on FMsel, but I still have Darkloader43final on the machine, but not istalled. Which would be the better bet? Got some serious issues with T1 FM's. Invisible enemies, black graphics instead of pictures. Very weird.

I would use Angelloader. Dark loader is no longer good to use.

Invisible enemies and single-colored surfaces are typical things if you play T1 missions with a T2 NewDark install (or vice versa).
Although T1 and T1 Gold ("T1G") missions are, technically, played with the T2 engine under NewDark, that does not mean that the player should put T1 and T2 missions in the same directory, and especially not that he/she should try to play T1/T1G missions with a standard T2 NewDark installation. Instead, a separate T1 NewDark installation is needed, and the easiest way to create one is to use voodoo47's TFix (not Jax64's T2Fix!) on a T1 installation.
Did you do that, Acolyte6, or did you create your installation in a very different fashion?
EDIT: And why are we discussing a problem of T1 missions in a T2 NewDark misson thread anyway?:tsktsk:

You need to get back to the place you started the mission. From Hammerite Village go back to mines, climb to first level of mines and then exit to the start area. There is also a walkthrough for this mission in the Walkthroughs, Loot lists and Lets Plays section:

I'm playing on Expert, latest version.
Right now I just start exploring Hammerites village.
Could someone please give me hint where I can find key to the Treasure room on the factory? Is it in the mines, factory or further locations?
I saw some hint letter near cells about key, but I don't have any idea where exactly escape prisoner were catched.
Just opened the mission in Dark Engine Viewer - WOW it's really huge mission.
