A hint: Go to the Shipping and Receiving Office and look around for written clues, and Sam might even say something to point you in the right direction as well.

Finished...wow...I hope you are going to make some more of these "Marlow" cases, you might just set a trend.

This is what he said: "It could be the key was on Sternwood when he was killed. Maybe he's still in the morgue at the precinct."

Yes Robin, that's where i went when i repeated the comment.
Mission finished on "normal" i will replay another day on "expert" mode, i really loved this mission Russ and Mike, excellent job! I noticed some new object models, really good like the truck, the model is impressive. The atmosphere is really relaxing and very american :D, The gameplay is very enjoyable and accessible, The story is really good, i love the way how the glass displays are done in the shops and what you see behind them.
I hope to see and play more of this style.
Once again thank you !

We've talked about a sequel already, but if we make one it will be some time before it happens. We both have other projects on our plates that have priority. :)
I already have three or four projects in progress or on the horizon so it may be years, but I would love to revisit this one and just insert a new story into the same map, and perhaps even give Sam a .38.

Thank you, Pedro! I'm very glad that you enjoyed the mission. I'm also glad you liked the truck, but unfortunately it's not a model, it's almost all terrain brushes.

Finished it also now. Well done.:D However, it would really have been better with subtitles already in it; more than once I had no idea where to go next since I had not understood what Marlowe or others said.
Furthermore, I had to search all over the city district for the reporter, since no one told Marlowe where this reporter should be. Only afterwards did I press the "map" key and read Marlowe's notes on Shelby address. A hint in the Readme file about Marlowe's notes on the "map" would be appreciated. Unfortunately, some of the other notes appearing on the "map" were very hard to decipher.
Oh, and concerning the "Should Marlowe have a map of his own district" discussion: On the one hand, Marlowe himself should not need a map of his neighbourhood. On the other hand, the player can't know what Marlowe has in his head, thus for the player, a map that can be carried around and even is present in Marlowe's inventory from the start could be very helpful. Marlowe would have this in his mind, the player can't. I'd rather vote for a map in this case.
But don't get me wrong. I liked this a lot, only the two or three times when I had no clue where to go next were a showstopper. Thank you for this small campaign!:thumb:
