The
warehouse is the right place to look, but you need to find a few things before you can find what you're looking for.
The first clue is
a pair of notes in the Receiving and Shipping office. Marlowe makes a comment which has another hint. If you've already read that but have forgotten the hint, and you don't have a savegame to go back to, here's what he says: (

That should get you started.

This is a very stylish mission! The noir thing has been attempted before with Thief, but obviously never with so much care and attention to detail and historical mood. A few things that stood out for me in an already standout mission:
* Marlowe takint tapdancing to the next level (guy is loud!)
* The faint details you can make out behind the windowpanes.
* The Blue Room bar.
* Marlowe bringing down the heat on the culprit.
* Fog horns in the distance!
* That vehicle.... was it really brushwork?
* The Big Sleep (and various period periodicals). But really, the focus on period americana is dazzling.
* All the drunks and shady characters loitering around.
* The musical accompaniment.
If there is a criticism I would bring up - and I realise how much work this one has been already - is how little of this town quarter do we actually explore. I swore that bakery we never visited was a mob outfit... I just knew they were up to no good.

LOL, you may be right. Hmm, we'll just have to take a look in there in the sequel (whenever that happens). Thanks for the comments and the critique. I'm glad you enjoyed it and found some details to appreciate. If and when we do a sequel, you can be sure we will find a way to increase the use of the map, and include more gameplay. And yes, the truck in night 3 is all brushwork aside from a few objects like the tires, the headlight lenses and the mirrors.

...as is the truck in Night 2 for that matter, it's just a bigger truck and you can't see the cab.

Version 1.1 is being tested now, and includes English subtitles. We expect to release it within a few days.

It crashes to desk top when i click start ??. I did check the cam_ext.cfg file and it looks ok.

I would imagine that is a problem trying to play the first briefing video. Go to your Thief 2 folder where the mission is installed, go into the movies folder, and then open b19.avi in a media player like Windows Media Player, and see if it plays there. Alternatively, you might launch T2 and try to play the Credits movie and see if it also crashes. Finally, the movies were encoded with the DivX codec which is very commonly used these days, but you may need to install it anyway depending on your PC.

Looks like I have to get my old Thief installation up and runnin' again!
