No, that is what you were supposed to do, so you did right.
Shoot an arrow to the bridge from the window, go back up and down to the other side of the stuck iron gate, climb the ladder down to the water, and climb up the rope, flip the switch to open the bridge gate.The wrong thing to do is to stand next to the bridge gate (on the guardian side), then lean forward and frob the lever through the gate to open it.

I was able to shoot the rope arrow into the bridge beam from beneath while in the water.

I did everything except find the golden bones and drill. I found 2 golden bones, one in a secret area near the start and the other off the blade room. Where are the rest and the drill? :thumb::angel:

Also, if you are playing on the easiest difficulty,
there is a slow-fall portion somewhere, which you could use.
When you get to the drill you will see some hints about the rest of the bones.

That is one of the easiest ones actually.

You can not carry it out with you. Look around a room, there is a certain place that if you drop it there, you will be able to retrieve it later.
I know but I have dropped it I thought everywhere but nothing works...maybe i am missing the obvious. maybe a straight solution for this old taffer who is getting a vision test tomorrow as well. maybe that will help. :)

There is a little open grate in one wall down at floor level. Drop it in or very near that grate. Then leave that room and find the other side of that grate. Then you can just frob the medalion through the grate.

That hint was about stopping your fall. I still don't know where the drill is. Unless I am supposed to drop in that room with the broken walkway. Is that it? Otherwise where is the drill? Thanks :confused::thumb:
