Here's what I think is the "right" way to continue:
Go back to where you found the dead thief and his dairy; you can mantle through the caved-in doorway nearby.Argh, I even looked there at the very beginning but found nothing and saw nothing... Oh well, I´m getting old... :laff:
Thanks pals!

It's not that rubble room.
On the same level as the medallion room, there is another rubble filled room - look in there. Drop down from the room with the flame you have to light and it's off there.

Finished with all objectives but 2300 short on total loot- what a great mission!!
Not that I´m greedy *cough* but is there any reward for freeing the second poor man´s soul with a holy water arrow near the exit? :ebil:

Finally finished. Thanks for an excellent mission, Haplo, and a helluva good time! :thumb: More remarks in the TIS thread.

Thanks to every one for the kind comments. It gives me a warm feeling inside and makes all those hours of fighting with DromEd worth it.
There were a few things I could not include because I ran out of time. Believe it or not, it all started from this thread, which I posted one day after Uncadonego proposed his contest. You can see just how complicated my initial set up was: (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=129490)
And yes, the unholy guardians where initially tables, because I hadn't made up my mind which AI type to use. And yes again, originally seeing the guardians was instant death(!), we all have the beta testers to thank for convincing me to make them hurt the player roughly once a second.
On a side note, it seems ffox is the only person who has found the secret scroll. MrMunkeepants got close, but I don't know it was because he did it right or there was a glitch in the game.
I was seriously thinking about retiring from DromEd indefinitely, but after all your nice words I am encouraged to make the sequel. In the sequel you will find out why the keepers had to hide the blade and what sort of effect it has on the world. The amount of work necessary to pull it off is terrifying, wish me luck!

 Why quit with DromEd when one starts to make progress like you do :thumb:
It's good to hear that you plan to make a sequel!

DON'T YOU DARE RETIRE.
As a retired "head" I loved The Acid Trip.
And this one? Really great mission, I especially liked the look.

I'm VERY glad to hear you've decided to make a sequel! Let me know if you need a betatester again next time as I thoroughly enjoyed working on this mission.
Tannar on 21/12/2009 at 03:15
Yes, that is very good news! You can't retire, you're just getting started. And you're getting really good at it.
