Let's see what I can remember.
The key on the guy in the hiding place opens the door to Bay 2...and you can get into that one guy's office via the "caged" ladder...you know what I mean. You've probably found the switch that will open the painting for the cage controls, so all you need to do is to climb the ladder and jump on the small ledge in front of the gate, and use a broadhead (or even a moss arrow, maybe) to hit the "up" button across the room...there's a broadhead nearby if you need one.
As for getting out of the cathedral, the secret button didn't work right for me and the bridge didn't stay extended, for some reason... so I strafe-ran and jumped to the other side of the gap...took me a few tries, but I finally got across.
I haven't finished yet -- I'm still short one rosary and 1200 loot -- but so far I've enjoyed this one.

There is another area you need to explore in the cathedral. To make it across the gap you'll find how when you get to the other area in the cathedral.

The bridge should stay when you press the button. As far as the rosary, you may have [SPOILER] pulled the secret lever for the entrance to the crypt and thought it was for the bridge. The rosary is in the crypt area. [/SPOILER]

Aha! Thanks! I've restarted on Expert -- why I started on Normal is a question even I can't answer -- and the bridge worked this time. I'm sure it's my fault entirely. :) As for the rosary, I'll have to go back and check again. Note to self: work on observation skills.

You will find the rosary after you get into the crypt. The lever is in the [SPOILER] upper part of the cathedral itself. If you got the Horn of Quintus, you would be close to the lever. [/SPOILER]

okay Im in the crypts at the bottom, I unlocked the door to the coffins with holes over them. One hole goes higher than the others and I see an opening. How do I get the coffin to lower ? Is there a way up there? I looked everywhere for a switch. My guess is the rosery is there.
