Check Wilfred's bedroom again.

Thanks, got it. I didn't realize at first it was the bouquet - for some reason, I thought it was a lampshade. :o

I think this looks like a very promising mission, but it has become unplayable for me. A brawl ensued in the bar, and there is a mage and an archer that keeps firing at a dead body on the floor (or at me, if I am in their sight). Anywhere near this area, the game slows down to an EXTREME crawl. If I stay in the vicinity for more than a minute or two, the game eventually crashes (it´s probably too much for my computer - it was the same in Caledndra´s Legacy mission 1; I have only managed to wake up Arkhyn and killing him in one occasion without a crash).
I did manage to get away from this area once, and did the upper floor with very little slowdown. I even got rid of the helmet guard by luring out a mage in the room and arrange for his missiles to hit the guard. :ebil:
Couldn´t handle the mages in the fountain room, though, just got Wilfred´s key and got out again. I got downstairs again, and had just knocked out a thief stading in a room below a ladder, when it crashed again. I can´t seem to get past this point without a crash now.
I give up now. What a shame, since there seems to be more fun things in this mission.

Well, the slowdown and subsequent crashing of the mission seems to be related to the Firebombs. Strangely, using them sometimes crashes the game and sometimes it runs perfectly fine. Try to avoid using the Firebombs at all.
The rat sometimes gets stuck while running around. I wasn't able to find a reason for that, but if you don't open it's cage, it won't upset the people in the bar and you might be able to find other means to proceed into this area. A good place to start with is cutting the power supply to the castle and use water arrows to extinguish the remaining lights in the bar. This will make things easier on the other floors in the mission, too ;).

I don't know if anyone else is having this problem, but once things start to get choppy and the framerate goes way down, I save, close the game completely, and then try to reload, but the game crashes before it ever manages to reload my save. I can't get anywhere at this point because it's so choppy, and when I try to close the game and reload (which is what the readme suggests as a fix for the choppiness), it crashes. Is this happening to anyone else, or is it just me?
My T2 is patched, I have updated .OSMs, I haven't used any of the fire bombs, and my computer is plenty powerful enough to handle most anything T2 could possibly throw at it (dual-core Pentium D 3.2 GHz with T2 set exclusively to one core; 2 GB RAM; GeForce 7300 GT).

The first time I played on Easy and the Rat ran out the door and cleared the remaining first floor and with the Robot chasing him he went outside and ran around the building taking out the metal heads in an endless chase. This was fun but I am having trouble getting it to repeat on my second playthrough on Hard. He leaves the cage, circles the bar room and then goes back to his cage I tried it again on easy again and all he did was go back to the cage. Is there a formula or a sequence that I accidently did on my first playthrough?

The rat is running a different route in each difficulty level. For example, on easy it is supposed to run outside and take out any AI on the ground level. Unfortunately sometimes the rat gets stuck for some reason.
Well, a rat sometimes has a mind of its own I guess. ;)

I'm playing on hard and I can't get into the rooms that have several people because they hear or see me immediately. I'm finding this extremely difficult.

There is a way to make things a bit easier. Try to find a way to reduce the light.

I went back to playing on Normal. I found out how to darken everything, but I still am having an extremely hard time getting anywhere. I just have to open a door and everyone is on to me. I'm done with this fm, much as I hate to leave anything unfinished. Its just not enjoyable to me anymore, but other than that, it was very nice
