I could even PM you a link pre-release
Thank you, but I won't be able to help you to test: I'm from Ukraine and have electricity for a few hours per day. Your mission is just too big to be finished in less than a month in these conditions :)

Very sorry to hear and I am hoping things improve for you as soon as they can! Very horrible situation there. Well, I will be doing my best to work out any bugs in this mission going forward. I do hope you can try again on the next iteration and let me know how it goes then. Thanks!

It wasn't that bad once I got into sneak mode and did some actual thinking.
I am having some trouble finding the
Earth stone though. I'm on the first floor and have been everywhere it seems but am at a loss.

Earth stone though. I'm on the first floor and have been everywhere it seems but am at a loss. You can try to figure it out based on the hint on second floor servant's quarters.
The note just talks about bugs/forest sounds in the 1st floor gallery. When you are there see what artifacts may resemble something to do with earth.

That's funny because I was in the gallery earlier and frobbed two of the stones on the opposite wall and then left before checking the other two.

Just finished this fan mission and I must say: congrats to the author, this mansion was huge, full of secrets and I loved the detailed, impressive architecture.
A rather hard fan mission, retreiving all six elemental stones was really difficult, each quest had its own nasty catch and all secret mirror rooms were very well hidden. Also on expert, to finish the loot objective, some secrets have to be found. I barely completed the loot quest, ending up only 58 above the minimum limit.
The light and dark elemental stones were hardest to retreive, while retreiving the dark stone was really scary, topping the most of what I have seen in other horror fan missions. A top-tier fan mission indeed, thanks for the release! You executed the elements of horror pretty good, I would gladly like to see a horror fan mission by you in future. :)
Just some small improvement tips for the next patch:
- if you kill the ghost mage from the dark stone quest (torture room) the no-kill-objective will fail, I guess it was not intended.
- I really wished the wind sounds from the stone gem quest would be a little bit louder and more distinquishable. I didn´t hear a clear difference at all, so I ended up brute-forcing my way through the quest using moss arrows to make my path visible.
- I saved the poor captain Downwinder from his little dewdrop hell, sadly there was no bonus objective for retreiving him.

Coming back to A. Stahl's lantern mod: I have now tried the mod published (
https://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=150945&p=2462185&viewfull=1#post2462185) here (hoping it's the one A. Stahl used), but the Light stone area worked as it should: Arrows and flashbombs worked, the robo-kid's projectiles hit me fast, but took at least a tiny amount of time to travel, sword and other weapons worked, and the
light spheres that attack the player appeared where they should. Depending on how I integrated the mod into the mission, I either had one or two lanterns, but nothing else weird happened that was related to the lantern.
Meanwhile, I found another odd thing that is already present in the original FM version without any lantern mod: "A Bedroll (1975)" often starts to float around in the female servant's room where it is located. Its neighbor, "A Bedroll (5183)" behaves normally. Doesn't seem to break anything, though.

Finished with 10,466 in loot and it took 4 hrs 30min. Great mission overall and the architecture is impressive. The only thing that could be changed in my view is having go all the way back to where you started the mission but is just a long walk or run with no challenges along the way. Other than that is was loads of fun.
Way upstairs in the room with the two mechanical guards was challenging but I was able to out run them easily. I entered from the balcony doors (leave a rope arrow in place) and then unlocked the double doors. Then knocked out the two guards. After after getting the sword I cam back down and worked my way around the throne to grab loot. The alarm went off and the chase was on. I ran out to the balcony and jumped onto the roof. The mechanical guards then ran out the other doors looking for me. I then went back in and grabbed the rest of the loot. After that I got the mechanical guards to chase me all the way to the first floor where I roped up onto the display cases at the entrance. From there I was able to destroy them from a safe spot with the fire arrows. You could probably find more efficient way but my way was fun just to see how far they would give chase.

Nice glad you enjoyed and had some fun with the knights! I agree if you end with the sword is a long treck down to the end. However, if you end with the vault, it's a quick way out through underground cave. I was looking for fun ways jump down safely at the end and was having trouble with that, but one of my testers found that you can run and jump a certain way with speed potion to land in the moat from the 5th floor with 0 damage. So I'm looking into that and adding an extra speed potion too!

Just finished playing on expert in just over 6 hours and completed with... 11796/12466 loot, 13/15 secrets and 64KOs.
Happily spent the "6th" hour exploring the castle to find missing loot and secrets, but still finished nearly 700 loot and 2 secrets short... aaargghhh. If the missing loot isn't with the secrets I wonder if I missed a room or probably gold rings which I commonly overlook. I did get the dropped ring, so that's not missing.
I didn't need any forum help to complete the tasks, and had no trouble finding the stones. I had a couple of re-loads for the water stone (my brain was on holidays !!) and I think darkness stone. No problems with the wind / sound path, but did require game sound to be turned up loud so you could hear the differences as you moved along the path.
Wandering the mansion lulled me a bit and I needed to up my game playing style with the stones, which some players might find a bit jarring.
I never got stuck, and appreciated the hints in readables which were enough reminders of things to do in those moments where I wondered what to do next.
I had the hanging arrow a couple of times but a quick reload or an exit/reload and on my way again.
Many thanks Vortex for a perfectly timed FM release for the Xmas break. An enjoyable FM with plenty of secrets to make me stop, look and explore and admire the architecture.
Looking forward to your next mission.
