No script attach but he has custom attack with particle sfx .. I also have some (probably unneeded) unrendered fences with block pathfind that were left in there in spots you can fall through when I was trying to have flying AI up there.....does the "segfault" abort the game? I am not familiar with them. Have you reloaded from save? Not sure what cause is for "segfault".
Maybe unrelated, but I have physics issues that I am currently working on fixing for version 1.1 ... but those typically manifest as floating arrows or unable to throw objects properly. Reloading last save fixes those.

A. Stahl, that area is already "under investigation", as far as I know. People sometimes have problems shooting arrows or dropping mines, flashbombs or Garrett's mechanical eye there. Did you do anything special there, or do you just come up from the lifts and approach the robo-kid, and then a segmentation fault occurs?
I also noted that the robo-kid uses a somewhat uncommon ability to defend itself. Do you see signs that the robo-kid has noticed you and tries to attack, such as the kid waving its arms around, and then the segfault occurs?
I have noticed some uncommon things when the kid attacks, too. Sometimes, the particles fly fast towards Garrett, but they can be avoided. But there were also occasions where the particles hit Garrett exactly the moments the particles were fired, with no time in between. Garrett's death by those attacks may also be a bit uncommon - there is no sound of something hitting him, he does not give a final scream, and he does not even begin to drop down. The screen just freezes for about half a second, and then the "Mission failed" movie with the skull starts.

Figured this out and have it fixed, problem was weapon was too weak and I made it stronger the wrong way which resulted in this weird death behavior. I have fixed it in the right way which should have been done the first time because I did it correctly in a different part of mission. Really stupid on my part.

Hmm, he surely sees me and moves towards me. Not sure about hands waving but no particles whatsoever.

I've managed to sneak around that kid, not triggering his attack. No problems except I wasn't able to use arrows in the corridor.

Great, glad it wasn't a hard error and went away. I do think the fix I have for the physics will likely solve this issue as well then. All this will probably come out in a week. I have a few more fixes for some more obscure issues that most players won't ever notice, but I want add those fixes and test first before updating the download.

Any solution how to jump over flying platforms ? (after opening secret high in rafters)
Everytime I try jump form firtst platform to another I fall because second is a bit to high and far from first. Mantle does not work !
I try an hour and GAVE UP!

Should not have to mantle. Platforms repeat paths and go high enough to hop safely from one to another.
1st - up and down w/ 10 second wait so 2nd platform can be reached when it comes down to equal height
2nd - travel in circle at 4 quadrants, 3 low (equal to 1st) and 1 high to be even with 3rd (each quadrant has 1 second pause to make jump easier)
3rd - bobs up and down in place slightly
4th - up and down between 3rd and topIf jump from 1st to 2nd too hard, the timing of that 1 cycle may be poor, reload save and wait for next cycle as each is different timing.
If the above does not solve the problem, I will PM you a video solution and see if that helps more.

have searched the upstairs bedroom for quite some time now and have just given up looking for switch to wall panel. could someone please tell me where it is.

It's very close to the panel so check every corner well.
