Thanks. I'm looking for the name of the artist and the name of the painting, if possible.

Thanks anyway, but I seem to have found it. It is a portrait of a young girl (probably his daughter), once thought to be by a follower of Rubens and now thought to be by Rubens himself.

Quite a striking painting.

Could use some general pointers on this one .. I've covered what has to be almost every part of this mansion, and have yet to achieve a single objective. I've got the following keys: office, front door, main building, attic, key (orange/red), I found a big bag and a poison needle.
Just making circles at this point - no sign of anywhere to start getting these objectives ticked off!

I was stuck in a similar way when playing v1.0 of the mission on easiest difficulty level. I had not noticed a particular key which is needed to access the elevator in the kitchen (that's where I think you have found that big bag). If you cannot access that elevator with any of your keys, look for that particular key. I didn't write down what this key is called, but I found it in
room 6 of the map, on some wall niche or windowsill.
I read that some things in the mission depend on difficulty level, so if you don't find that key where I said, and play on a higher difficulty level, I can only tell you that you most likely need that key, but in that case I wouldn't know where it is.
In the new area you can access after unlocking the elevator in the kitchen, look for keys and other means to open doors. This should get you back on track for at least a while then. Good luck!:thumb:

Thanks, as always seems to happen I started making progress after posting above. I saw a few posts up on this page there is a walkthrough, so I've been using that as well ... what really got me going was the elevator key, which I had missed in the room with the guard looking at a blank frame .. in the frame! Finding that opened up a crucial area.

stuck again, though ... I got to Aerona's area and got the crystal ball and broom ... there is a skull that highlights that I can do nothing with .. and a pedestal that highlights with a gem on it that I can do nothing with. I think I need the wand, but no idea where it is. The walkthrough I was using said it was in the small room with the treasure chest - but I don't see it in there.
