Just escaped from the monastery with the Drymian Codex in my hands. I kept all spider eggs until the very end, so it was hilarious to see how all those pagans fight with the spiders in the courtyard. I want to thank Yandros & the team for making this mission. Excellent design, very interesting storyline and outstanding atmosphere.

I think the newest version of NewDark (1.26) may break some parts of the mission. On Expert I was unable to pickup the Trials of St. Dismas inside the little girl's secret room in the crypt and yes this was after reading the readables that trigger the objective. The ghost in the haunted crypt also seemed to display abnormal behavior, whereas before it was perfectly predictable on a route it seemed to be very random. This isn't the only NewDark mission I've seen some issues with in the latest NewDark. Zealot's Hollow had some minor issues with some NPC (the mage with his barrier in the room with one of the zombie corpses) stuck halfway into the floor. Seems to be mostly the earlier NewDark era missions are affected in some way.

NewDark appears to be a curse as well as a blessing with some bugs.
I've been instrumental in 'fixing' nearly 100 missions with dml's over the last couple of years and have found that newer versions of Newdark can both cause new issues as well as magically fix old issues on their own.
A classic example is The Thieves Quarters, where with older versions of Newdark the game CTD when you tried to pick up the holy hammer, for which there was no fix, but from Newdark 1.23 onwards this issue disappeared all by itself.
Recently I discovered in Horns of Canzo: Part 1 that I could collect the tiara from the cemetery but Athalle reported that she couldn't. Unna looked into this and pointed out that I should not have been able to collect the tiara as it has no frob info.
So it maybe that some bugs may show up depending on the set up of your computer, as well as how clean your Thief install is.
In theory the dml's that Unna makes should fix those bugs that have been reported, but there is no guarantee that they will work on everybody's computer or with every version of NewDark.
If you post the object no's of the items affected in The Drymain Codex Unna can take a look and hopefully produce a dml to rectify these bugs.

It required a mission restart but worked. Old save started with the script bundled with the mission archive itself wouldn't work. The mission did work 100% with previous versions of NewDark last time I'd played it in 2014, though, so kind of weird stuff.

This is one of the best missions I have played. Fantastic gameplay, interesting objectives, wonderful architecture. I love crypts and exploring and this mission has lots of both. Really great ending also.

There are some Polish font files in this FM's archive, making some Polish characters (letters) available in "Thief". These font files could also be of use for some recently translated Polish missions, making it possible to include the original Polish book texts in a multi-language archive. Does anyone know where these font files came from, whether they may be taken and used for other missions, and who should be credited for them in such a case?
