Grump. Short on loot (I should make that a macro) in Presumption of Innocence. I need a final $130... any suggestions for hard-to-spot loot? I believe I've been in every room on every floor, outside in the yard, and outside the walls; but there's actually nearly $800 left in the mission that I can't find.
Thanks,
Dafydd

Odd. I was sure I was comparing my list to the pdf... Must have been a different one.

Just had to add my appreciation of this superb FM series.
The layouts, scaling/proportions & use of space are as good, I think, as I've ever seen - in the 1st mission, it seemed like I couldn't turn around without finding yet another passage, door or set of stairs to check out! Loved the gameplay - it felt like all playing styles were catered for, & I particularly liked having the AI pause at places or do different things rather than just zinging to & fro between points A & B. Great story, beautiful architecture, atmosphere appropriate to each part, terrific choices/placement of objects & textures and really good voice-acting.....hell, everything was good!
But, foir me, the best thing was the way you achieved such a thorough balance between all these various aspects - I was rarely focused on any one aspect, & stayed really immersed from start to finish. Enjoyed every moment!
Great stuff, R Soul, & thank-you so much. One of the best :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Agreed. Late Payment is a real gem - one of the best city missions I´ve played.

I need help in level 1: Late Payment. I made it to the room where the thug kills the jeweller and I got the gold key. Now what? Where is Sarringham's guard? Where is the letter I need to destroy? Is the thug in the mines? Are the mines where I should go first after the thug kills the jeweller?

You can do things in any order, I think.
The key goes to a locked door that you have not been able to open before. Also, something will eventually change in the mines (maybe it already has, I am not sure).

I kinda guessed that. What door? Where is the most logical place to go to after the
thug kills the jeweller?

In the room where you meet the jeweller there is a note from the guard saying where to find him.
If you've already gone quite far from that room, getting back may be a little arduous if there are still guards around, so I will also post the answer:
The bluestone building by the mine entrance is the one you want.
