Spoilers:
Lord V's manor.
Did you get the 'evil' sword in a room where you have to turn on 2 wall lights?
Try frobbing a book in the library?
I need help in finding the wine crate to finish the game. Any help?
Nightwalker on 18/6/2002 at 19:55
Try looking
in the storeroom behind the bar. It just looks like an ordinary crate and it doesn't go into your inventory, so you have to carry it in front of you.
When you include a spoiler, just hit the "Spoiler" button up above where you type and a text box pops up. Type in the stuff that needs to be hidden, hit "OK". It's really easy. :)

I've found all 13 secrets. At least I think I have. Alas, only 12 are showing on the statistics screen. Even with the Horn of Quintas in my inventory this one doesn't check off. Or is it a secret? Spanker lists it as one. What exactly has to be done to get the game to recognize this as a secret found?
Thanks.
Nightwalker on 23/10/2002 at 13:31
No, that's not a secret. I guess you still haven't found one somewhere.

This FM has been a lot of fun, I've had a blast finding the secrets, but I seem to have missed something, a BIG something.
I have 1897 loot, and need 2000 per the objective. I've scoured the mansion about ten times now and can't find anything new! :(
I'm playing on Expert- does anyone have a loot list or know where I might have missed 103 in loot? I tried checking threads for this but never found anything that fit my problem...but by checking them I found the secrets listing, and I'm pretty positive I found all of them.
Thanks for any help / ideas!

I've never quite found all the loot in this one. I came up 60g. short, but I found enough to finish on Expert. I don't have a proper loot list, but I'll try to mention a few things that you could possibly have missed. Maybe that will help.
The secret in the Watchman's house is a purse worth 70g. There's also a chest holding 12g. and a vase and candlestick downstairs, worth 50g.
There is a "shrine" of sorts that you get into from a door in the wall around the property. There's a torc in there, worth 200g.
Basement rooms - nugget in a secret worth 100g., stuff in servant's rooms, worth 55g., kitchen -vase & plate worth 40g., wine cellar - bottles worth 55g., crystal (secret) worth 50g., bedroom chests worth 5g.& 40g.
Main floor rooms - Mask on a wall, worth 70g., a plate under a table worth 10g., nugget in a secret worth 50g., cup and bottle under the bar counter worth 50g. and cashbox in bar worth 40g. Gold hammer at the front of the chapel worthy 30g., in bedroom in chapel area, hammer under a desk worth 30g. In secret area past the graveyard (Blow open wall to get in) stuff worth 120g. Nugget in the area where you find the Hand of Glory.
Upstairs - stuff in Master bedroom, coins and a spice bag in the garden room. It's hard to describe which room things were found in, as they are all similiar and unlocked, but there is a cup on the floor in a room near one of the secret doors. In another room, there is a fireplace poker, worth 100g.
I'm afraid it's a little vague and it doesn't include everything, but maybe you'll spot something you missed. :)

Thank you Nightwalker!
I'd completely missed
the 'shrine' area...I'd seen the gate but I guess I'd dismissed it as not going anywhere, shame on me!
That put me over the top and allowed me to finish the mission :) And I *did* get all the secrets! I'm pretty proud of that.

In Lord Whatshisname's manor, how do you get in the damn place? I can't find any key, or any lever, or any hidden button. The only way possible is luring the guard out to open the door, and that's not cool.
Nightwalker on 12/4/2003 at 13:12
I presume you've gotten into the main yard around the mansion. There's a shed with a well in it. Go swimming. :)
