OK, I have Isabella, but I do NOT have any fire arrows to get OUT of the cavern from the gates of hell to go back to the mansion. (The path I took to get to it had a rockslide and is impassible and I do not have any fire arrows to blow it open.)
How do I get back to the mansion once I have Isabella???
From outside 'The Gate of Hell', just follow the cavern system in the other direction from the rockslide blockage (the passage starts to the right of the Gate if you stand outside in front of it). There is one place with a ladder (or a jump/mantle) that you might have missed if you play with a dark setting.

OH, THAT was so dark I missed it, thanks!
Just one more question....where is a ROPE ARROW located in the FM, so I can go down the hole in the garden?
EDIT: Sorry, It was again so dark that I missed that there already IS a rope arrow in the beam.

Just finished this great FM today (Expert).
Besides the
despicable jumping puzzle you have to do to get the air key
I had a hell load of fun. Hehe... hell. :) Took me some time though. Started to play yesterday at 8 PM and stopped at 2 AM because of my hurting buttocks. I sit on a rather hard chair. :D Today I finished the rest. I managed to locate 5 out of 8 secrets. That's ok, I guess.
The beginning of the mission is just great in my opinion. This dark, wet, atmospheric basement where you really need to search for some equipement. Interesting notes here, some broadhead arrows there and just great visuals. I really like the taste that was put into this start. And then there is the ascent to the mansion and the main part begins. At the beginning I experienced some difficulties and did not know where to go. But this changed when I finally entered the office of Lt. Wilson. From there on it became more clear.
Everyone should give this mission a try. I had a great time with it. :)
Thank you, Lady Rowena.

Your post about the passing of your husband has spurred me to play this mission. I can't remember if I've ever played it before but my GOD!!!! So far it's incredibly fantastic, so many secrets and loot everywhere, and hundreds of guards! So much story!
And you did such a good job of making me sympathize with Lady Rowena,
I don't want to kill her :(
I want to restore her to life and break her servitude to the dark one.
I just found out what happened to her in the pit and am about to go get the sword. I am loving this mission.

Since it´s so good and memorable, my guess is that you haven´t. :D

I think I watched FenPhoenix do a play through a while ago, as some of this seems familiar.
Also didn't Rowena make Seven Sisters? I played that one too, also very incredible set of missions, but never finished, too complicated.
I think I'll be doing a Rowena marathon, sounds like a fun time :)

When I show friends what T2 FMs are about, I show them this one.
It's one of the best designed & most fun single missions we have IMO.

I say give the campaign another go. There are several missions out there that are much more complicated than Seven Sisters.
There is plenty of help in the forum for Seven Sisters (each Night has its own thread).

If you haven't played it before, be sure to play The Tower. Great little mission.

I agree on this. It's just a pity that we can't show the coolness of rope arrows with it, because there are none in Rowena's Curse.

Just finished playing it. I did play it before, I think it was part of the Together in Shadows thread I was following for a while. Great little mission and I can see how it won the contest.
