Can't figure out how to get into the little area in the zombie pit that has bars and a locked gate. I tried picking and all keys I have found. All of the mission
is complete (objective-wise) except this area (which also has the last bit of loot I need). Any "hint" to how to get past this gate would be appreciated.

If you are playing the first version, I'm sorry, but there is a bug there and you can't open the gate. I'm very sorry for this. :(
If you are playing the 2nd version, the key is [SPOILER]Down in the pit where the 2 fem zombies are. The key is near the blood pool.[/SPOILER]
Anyway, you can get the loot you need anyway, there is a loot list on Epithumia's site.

Thanks so much Lady Rowena. I did look really good down there, but I guess
I missed it. It just "felt" like a good place to find a key. I'll load up and look again. I usually don't use loot lists, it feels too much to me like cheating.

When I pick up dynamite to blow wall out in dungeon,,,I can not drop dynamite there or anywhere,,,I can walk around but cant use anything and can not put dynamite down. Any help would be appreciated,, Thanks.

USE THE "R" KEY to put it down. If you still can't then go to an earlier SAVE or QS and start over.
What version are you using (Rowena's)? If you have the first one, go to (
www.thiefmissions.com) and get the most recent one.

[SPOILER]Near the end, I picked up sleep seal in the one chamber and am now stuck. In the zombie room with the inverted cross opening on the ceiling, I go through a gate and down a hall and see a gated chamber with a lock on it and some skulls and some kind of horn behind it, but I have no key. Back up where I got the sleep seal, on the other side of the long chamber there is a crawlspace that leads to the inverted cross room, and a high opening in the adjacent wall, but I can't mantle up into it no matter what I do. Ah, Rowena's Curse. *drool* Unless I've misunderstood, you're supposed to be able to get where you're trying to go. You've entered through the hallway leading to the zombie chamber, and gone through the large door directly across from the hallway by flipping the large red switch beside it, right? Then, once through the doorway, the place you're right to enter is to your left, by some displayed stones? That's where you want to go, so keep trying.
If you're new enough that you're not sure how to read the text under the blue blocks, just drag your mouse cursor over it. :) I wish I could be more specific about this, but it's been far, far too long since I played this game, and a little too long since I slept. :p

I hope I understand well where you are. You have to mantle up there, you can do it.
There are 2 steps, so to say. Don't try the lower one, try the higher one, instead, it should be easier.
The seal is unuseful, I put it there just for show. It was a mistake, as it confuses the players, sorry. :angel:

:D The master herself! :thumb: It must've been at least a year ago now when I first played RC, and it's still one of my favorites. Don't worry about the seal, I thought it was a nice touch to add, to let you know you were still on the right track. :thumb:
