I didn't see this addressed in this threat, so I'm assuming I'm missing something really obvious. I'm playing on hard, have the first objective checked off, have the white room key. I also found a door in a secret passage in
Nelly's room
but I can't open the door at the end.
I've knocked out all the guards that I have access to. Not found the chapel yet. Can anyone please give me a nudge? I've spent many hours retracing my steps, searching all the rooms...nothing.
Thanks a lot.

Okay, I'll walk you through getting there. Return to the white room, and go down the stairs nearby. Turn right, and walk down the hallway until you reach another hallway, which has carpet on it. Turn left, and head down the hall until you see another hall on your left. Has a bunch of paintings in it, and double doors at the end. Hopefully I didn't inherit the direction giving curse that plagues my family and mess up somewhere. :p
Edit: there's also another way to get there from the outside which might be easier for you. If you've found the locked cemetary, which is at the south-east of the property, according to the map. If you find the cemetary, just head north. There's a locked door, which takes the chapel key I believe.
As for the secret passage you found, you'll find out what it's about once the plot takes you there. ;)

HAH - just beaten to the punch by TheNight Terror!.
The key you are looking for turns up later in the game. How did you get into
Nelly's room
? Is there a key that Ive missed? I used brute force just to find out what lies behind a locked door.

:joke: Don't feel bad. There's so many keys in this mission it's easy to forget about trying your lockpicks on a locked door. ;)

I thought I tried the picks on every door, but lousy sense of direction got me!

Don't worry, I got mixed up a bit when I was on the second floor and going through all the doors to the rooms. But, there's an easy way to tell which hallway has the rooms you can get into. Once you know which hallways have the colored rooms in them, you just need to remember that the hallway with only one door along it is one you need a key to get into. If there's two doors leading off the hallway, you're dealing with the blue and yellow rooms, and you can pick the locks and get into them whenever you get there. I learned this out the hard way when I tried ghosting this mission. I went running down the hallway with one door leading off it with a guard after me, only to discover the door was locked. Wrong hallway! Then a second later I heard the death crunch/scream combo and everything faded to black . . . :erm:

Yup - been there, done it, got the blood stained tee shirt. Now ive cracked the colored rooms, and I know how to get the next key. Ready for another set of surprises from this fantastic mission. Things can only get worse.

Thanks TheNightTerror--I'm feeling really stupid now, since I'm not sure which is the white room. I've only got the key but can't find the appropriate door for it. I also don't have the chapel key. :erm:
I'd appreciate help on this. PLeeeease.
Awesome mission so far.

The white room is very, very, very close to the stairs leading up to the second floor. They're fairly narrow stairs, as far north inside of the house as you can get, I think. At the bottom of them you can look out a . . . big huge gate thingy and see some guards outside. Anyways, once you get to the top of the stairs, hang a right, the door should right in your face, but then again I'm guiding you by memory. :erm:

Thank you! For some reason, I never tried the key on that door. How silly of me. So now I'm off taffing some more.
:)
