If you already have the Holy Sword, then you have to go to the hell entrance, something is waiting for you. ;)
You will have the cabinet key and the cemetery key later.
I hope that you are playing the 2nd version, because the first has some little bugs, but you will be be able to complete the mission anyway. :)
PS - The key to hell insn't in the secret compartment in the library because someone found it and took it away.

[Folks]
Good heavens, I can't possibly read through all this :weird: !
I think I'm in the really, really early stages of this mission, which I'm trying to ghost. So far, at least.
I read the diary, hence I have the Chapel key; but I can't figure out how to get into there. There is a corridor (next to the unpickable library door) with a guard trooping up and down it, and I can't see how to get past him without alerting him. Is there another way into the Chapel? I don't have any elemental keys, holy swords, haven't seen any wells of death, and have only found two secrets, I think. I operated the telescope, but I don't know if it does anything. I found a tunnel in some woman's room that led down through the cellar and up into another room on the ground floor. And up on the balcony that runs around the internal courtyard, I found a lever on the side of a window that opened a panel with a statue.
Where am I supposed to go next? It didn't look like I could get into the cellar itself without alerting the patrolling guard; I zipped past from the secret corridor to a corridor directly opposite. At the moment, I'm hiding in the dining room. Any hints where I should go? I'm pretty stumped!

This mission has a couple of places that cannot be ghosted. The requirements of the mission itself make 100% ghosting not possible.
For the chapel:
Sneak in on the right side, by timing the guard on patrol and the standing guard you can make it past and into the door to the right. However, you later must commit an act in that area that will alert the guards.
From the dining room
exit the double doors by the sideboards into the living room. Clean that out. Exit to the main hall via the double doors, cross into the courtyard, and go down the ramp into the cellars.
Or make your way down the hall to the left after exiting the dining room.
stay to the left. Check out Lenny's room. There is some stuff you need there. Exit Lenny's room, turn left go down the hall, turn right at the main entrance and go upstairs. Checkout all the rooms on this level. Pay close attention to the "color scheme", and search each room carefully.

Have you gone down the pit? If not then you must do this. The pit is in the yard. To get there you need to find the Garden key, and make your way around the house.
One way to do this is to use the cellar. There is an exit near the room you enter from the ramp from the courtyard. The other is a secret passage from the "RED ROOM" on the second floor.
I suggest that you get out of the house and climb down a rope you can find outside the main house.

I wonder if I should just give up the ghost -- ah, so to speak -- and just start blackjacking everyone in sight? The alternative is to ghost as much as it's possible to ghost, and alert the guards in the other parts (like if I'm required to fire a fire arrow or somesuch); but it's just not as satisfying saying "I ghosted
some of this mission!"
Thanks for the suggestions!

I will also add, there are some cups, bottles etc. that look like loot but are eye candy for the room decorations. So don't get too frustrated if some items you commonly associate with loot don't highlight or jump into your collection of goodies.
This is not a bug. These items are also NOT counted in the loot available.
This mission is great, but requires a lot of repeat visits to areas. The mission is also sequencial in nature. You must accomplish a certain "A" task, before the "B" item shows up for you to move on in the mission.

[TheBlackman, or anyone else]
I've gotten quite a bit farther since I gave up on ghosting the mission and just decided to knock everyone out.
I've been into all the "color" rooms, including Rowena's room (accessed through the pit). I got into the library, read B's journal, got the two keys in the safe there, and got the Well Room Key from the trunk above the Chapel.
I've looted every room I could find (including Silas's horde). But I have no idea where the Well Room is; I still can't get into the Sacristy; and I have no idea where the Holy Sword is or any of the elemental keys. I also haven't found Albino's book, or whatever it's called.
Everyone is unconscious except for the guard in the side-corridor off the corridor that connects the Chapel to the main part of the house; I have been on the other side of those doors, however, and KOed the guard there. But the guy on this side is in too much light, so I've just been bypassing him. Still, moving around is pretty easy, since everyone else is off in the land of Nod.
But I don't know where to go!
Thanks,
Dafydd

OK. Now:
Go into the passages you found that connect the pit and Rowena's room. KISS THE SKULL.
As for the "well": Here is a HINT only. Examine the dungeon inch by inch. If you have found and read Duncan's diary, then this should steer you the right way.
Details:
The well room was bricked up. It is the alcove next to the cells in the dungeon. You need to use and explosive to blow the wall out. You will find a fire arrow and a barrel of explosive in the little shed next to the barracks by the garden gate where you come out from the Red room exit to the garden. Also, if you have not yet discovered, the lantern at Silas' stash can be added to your inventory and used, and there is a second one that can also be used with the explosive in the shed.

You will find a entrance to the sacristry behind a painting in the hall upstairs. Examine the large portrait by the double doors to the balcony. There is a switch.
Why not? You expect everyone else to read your diarrhea of the keyboard posts.
