Hello,
This is my first thread to this forum. I recently discovered the FM's after playing about a year Thief 1 and 2.
Playing the FM "Lady Rowena's Curse" is one of the first ones I played and I really really adored!! The FM has a story to tell, great scenery, excellent sound, and many many (hidden) objectives you have to complete!
Normally I do not post on game forums, but because Thief is one off the games I really adore playing (not saying I am really good at it :p), I felt the need to congratulate Lady Rowena for the excellent mission she gave us!
I had to sneak sometimes on this forum to find some things, like the "well room" and the "hidden switch in the blue room"
I will play some more FM's in future, but some mission require "Scripts" or some stuff like that. Could someone be so kind to post where i might download them and how to install? Thank you :)
Once again,...congratualations! And keep "Thief" on going!

Actually, it already is. I've rated this mission the highest out of any other mission made within the past 3 months with Ominous Bequest coming in 2nd.
Lady Rowena needs to join Ion Storm and contribute her amazing unmatched talents there.

Welcome to the forum, JOhn! You certainly picked a terrific FM to start with! You can download Gaylesaver's scripts (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=72923) here Just unzip the T2 ones directly into your T2 game folder and the ones for T1 into the T1 game folder. Very easy and then you can just forget about them. The missions that need them will run. Enjoy and I hope you'll become a regular poster here. :)

Hi everybody!
This FM is incredible and I'm having a blast with it. I'm still stumped though.
I have the holy sword and have read Alastor's book. I found a secret compartment in the library with a note and a key (that's what it says), but the key to hell isn't in the compartment! I've looked carefully.
I can't get into the locker in Rowena's room. There must be a key to it somewhere, but I can't find it. I'm thinking the key to the cemetary must be in there if I heard that correctly, since I can't get into the cemetary.

Jorren. The way this is set up, you do not find all the things at once. Use the key that you have, gather more information. AND RETRACE YOUR STEPS A LOT. Things show up in areas you have already been to as you accomplish other things.
Where are you? What have you done? Did you use that key yet? What did you find when you used the Key?
Did you explore the area where you found the safe and the key well? Did you open the hidden chest?
So...[spoiler] Take the key go to the far end of the room with the safe (away from the door) enter an area with windows. Follow the beam over the chapel below to the chest at the other end. Open the chest. [/spoiler]
Come back after that if you get stuck again. :D

The key to the cabinet/locker is Rowena's key. Have you tried that?[/spoiler]

I have opened the chest above the chapel past the ceiling beams.
I have also tried Rowena's key on the cabinet. No luck.
As far as I can tell I have been everywhere except the cemetary, inside the cabinet in Rowena's room, and hell.
I still don't get why the key to hell insn't in the secret compartment in the library.
A corrupt save perhaps?
