Greetings taffers! I have been trying to finish this awesome fm this weekend, and i have completed all of the objectives, including the bonus, except loot. I have been to hell and back twice :-) and did find a couple of things, but i am still short 6 maddening dollars from the 8000 objective. Anybody got a loot list? I think i found all the secrets. There is a golden skull, and the horn of quintus, behind the gates that won't open (playing version 1).
Thank you Lady Rowena, for spending so much time to make this glorious fm. The story and the attention to detail really make it special, it is sure to be a replayed classic for many years to come.
Is the cashbox behind the west statue in the cemetery what you're referring to as a secret. If so, it's not really. At least it's not checking off. So, your list only shows 7 of the 8 secrets included on the statistics page. I checked both versions and it doesn't count as a secret in either version.
You are probably correct. In the three beta's I tested I may have (most likely) have confused them. Glad you caught it. :thumb:

Thanks to OLD MAN, the Secrets list has been corrected in the post on the previous page.
The Chest is NOT one of them. Number 8 has been corrected and accounted for. Sorry about that. :D

Well, all I can say is this mission is truly excellent. I may be a clueless noob, but I've played a lot of fms and I found this to have by far the most interesting and well developed storyline. The attention to detail was excellent, I especially liked
picture of Rowena that changed after you had killed her.
Again, a fantastic mission and I look forward to anymore you might make. (Hint, Hint). :cheeky:

Just finished v1 (didn't there was a v2 until I read through this thread) on Expert. Lots of fun this. :thumb:
Really enjoyed the involved storyline (a multigenerational one at that). Really nice big design. I know I'm in for a long adventure when a 12 Mb mission starts up with no briefing AVI!
Found about 8200 loot and 6 secrets so a loot list someday would be quite welcome. I though I had found a lot of the random loot but apparently not.
Biggest thrill: Finding the progressively threatening notes from Rowena
Biggest disappointment: Couldn't get the exterior guards and Duncan's ghost to fight each other. They just wandered around in a clump looking for me. :p
Grazie, Lady Rowena!

What a mission!!!!
This is breathtaking to say the least.
I have a few questions though. I might find them If I look through all the postings, but I also might find out more then I want to know.
1. Key to cementary
2. Key to door in church on the left side.
3. Key to the doors under the colored rooms
4. Key to open the cabinet in the masters room. I think the sword is there, but cant open it.
A map would have been great. You are all over in this mission, and really easy to forget where someplace is. But hey, it is one hell of a mission.

Version 2 of this mission, which was released recently, includes a map, which is very helpful.
You will get into all of the things you mentioned eventually, if you keep exploring. It all works very nicely. If you're stuck, post what the last few things you've gone are (keys found, rooms entered, etc.) and we'll get you on your way again. :)

Start at the lowest rock farthest away from the key. Jump always to the left corner. When you get to the last rock just before the wall on your left. Jump to the wall then jump to the last rock near the key.
Frob the panel. Frob the skull
Jump in the water. Repeat journey to the right hand panel. Frob the skull.
Start over and work your way to the key.
Rock jumpers:
Do a QS at each rock. At the "last" rock before you dive at the platform, do a QS.
Then keep trying for the jump from the panel to the rock just in front of the Key ledge.
Look a little above the rock surface. When you get lined up DO NOT LOOK AT THE TOP OF THE ROCK. You cannot "SEE" the rock when you jump. Get set, make sure you are lined up. Then raise your eyes and jump.
Don't try to see where you are landing. Jump at the last rock more like you are jumping into the ledge.
