The Barracks referred to is the place with an arrow guard on the roof. Beside is the shed? where the explosive barrel is located. You need that barrel :), but not to get the secret next door
Hi I'm a Newbie.
I have only two problems with Rowenas curse
Problem 1 - I see only the objectives of another FM mission
Problem 2 - (not a real) the game is stored under titles of the game I played before
Can somebody help me ?

Welcome to the forum, sinswolf! :)
Have you tried playing a different FM to see if it does the same thing? If the others work fine, I'd try installing the OMs through Darkloader, then reinstalling Curse. Sometimes that will sort things out.
I had a similar problem once (though I'm not saying your's is necessarily caused by the same thing) and it turned out Darkloader had left something in the T2 folder that it shouldn't have. I had to copy my "Saves" and "Allsaves" folders to someplace else on my computer, uninstall Thief, then delete everything that was left in the T2 folder, to make sure it was totally cleaned out. Then I reinstalled T2, put the "Saves" and "Allsaves" folders back in and the FMs ran properly again. It's a bit of work, but it might help. :)

Thanks again, Clock, I did find that secret as well, so now I'm convinced that one of my secrets just didn't check off when I found it (I've gone back to all the secret locations to verify this). But that's ok, because I plan on replaying this mission from the beginning when the new version comes out anyway.
I appreciate your help! :) :)

Alright... I've got the White Room key, Chapel Key, Garden Key, 2 notes from R. I can get into the excavation area, but I don't WANT to until I get to the Library, which I CAN'T EVEN FIND! Is it one of those locked doors?

The library IS one of those locked doors. It's close to the Chapel.

Okay, that's done. Working on the
Elemental keys now. Was Rowena's note the ONLY clue I should be doing this? Shouldn't there be a book or a scroll saying "FIND TEH LEET COLORED KEYS AND THOU WILL GET TEH L33T SW0RD TO SMITE TEH 3VIL VILLAIN!!111" Or something like that?
I hardly ever post here, but I feel the need to put my two cents in. Just finished the mission, and... wow. Excellent. Superb. I'd have to put it on par with 7th Crystal. I'd rate it above if it weren't for
the tedious nature of Hell with all the monsters. Sure, I got through it, but it took way too long to thoroughly backstab everything.
But oh man, this mission sure creeped me out. Just entering, say, an unoccupied bedroom I'd get chills, even when there wasn't anything overtly scary. Needless to say, I made a point of flicking on the lightswitch of every room I entered! :cheeky: Amazing atmosphere. Hearing ambient sound I haven't heard since Thief 1's Bonehoard was unsettling too. The idea of being trapped on the estate grounds along with everyone else was great. I like how you had to build up your supplies from next to nothing after most of it got broken right at the start. I could just picture Garret tossing the crate over the hedge right before the mission started!
As someone said earlier, the whole well thing did smack of The Ring, but at least create a little empathy for Rowena and raised her up from a two-demensional villian status. The final ritual room was one of the coolest "climax" rooms in Thief I've seen.
Is it just me, or did you crank up the alertness of the guards? They seemed a lot more jumpy than usual, but I still got away with the lean-forward-and-smack-'em-on-the-forehead trick as always.
In addition to the Horn of Quintus thingy, there are a number of issues with trying to frob loot out of niches. I was stumped for quite awhile for instance when I couldn't take
the key out of the middle box in the Captain's office after many a frob attempt, the one key that essentially sets the events of the story into motion.
Aside from those minor things, GOOD JOB! :thumb:

Thank you very much for the nice comments....:)
But at this point I have to confess.....
You may believe it or not, but I don't even remember if The Ring is a game or a movie......:o
