I don't know whether it was in the thread or not because of subj (I already know THANKS! :mad: that lady Rowena should be killed, there is some scary demon and Alcarus or whatever and Isabella diary is under her pillow). A DO NOT WANT TO KNOW THAT!
Special thanks (truly) to theBlackman :) because of his delicate postings..
The question is - I have only one key left - chapel (had keys for ~ isabella room and guard's secret). But there are a lot of locked doors (cemetery, three doors in the mansion - one on each floor + heavy door on the first floor with "scary note" near, 3 "keeper doors" in secret passages, locked gate to the garden, locked door
in chapel and at nearby yard). And scary face of lord Duncan staring at me from all poins :)

Is it normal (not lord Duncan :))? Should I search for some non-highlited secrets or to what WAY should I turn?

P.S. Really great mission, really challenges. 6 from 5 Lady Rowena

@Omen: you're on the right track. Just don't miss any clues (scrolls etc.). Have you searched the chapel?

Here are a few points of criticism for the mission. Don't take this the wrong way, all in all it is great! Just a few details that might need some work:

[SPOILER]The switch behind the bed (I think it was in the White Room) is impossible to reach without getting in behind the bed, and if you are there, it's really hard to get out of that space again. One of the lamps should be moved or removed.[/SPOILER]

[SPOILER]I couldn't ever see the switch that opens the secret door in the Blue Room. I don't know what I did to open it. Even after it was open, I searched for a switch again but couldn't see one.[/SPOILER]

[SPOILER]The skull that you need to frob to be teleported to the room with the "solid stone" riddle only highlights if you stand so close that you're pushing your face into the wall. I suspected that something was there, but even standing before it at one pace didn't make it highlight. And if it's not highlighted, you can't frob it. This is my only big complaint. [/SPOILER]

[SPOILER]In the small barracks in the northwestern part of the garden, there is a Secret compartment with three gold coin stacks but you can't pick them up. [/SPOILER]

Ieldra, do you have a lean forward key in your controls? I use it a lot and it would have solved some of the problems you mentioned. The bed lever [SPOILER] is easy to reach if you stand on the bed and lean over the headboard to frob it. Same thing with the coins. If you lean in towards them you can pick them up. [/SPOILER]

Of course I know about leaning forward. I tried it with the aforementioned switch as you said, but it didn't work. And usually leaning forward when you're standing in front of a wall doesn't do anything. The coins are near enough that I should be able to get them. They're practically in my face when I'm crouching in front of the opening. I *really* should be able to get them.

I don't know anything about Thief level design, but it seems to me that in case of the skull and the coins, these items have a lower range for highlighting than usual. If this true, I think it is a flaw. A small one, all right ;)

Really nice FM!!!
Some small things that have been pointed out in earlier posts were annoying (e g hard to find switches..)...but with the help of this thread everything was solved!
Maybe breaking down the objectives a little bit more would be nice...sometimes the objectives were far from clear!
But apart from this:one of the best FMs played: gameplaywise and storywise!

Uhm eh.. I haven't been here in quite a while and got lots of catching up to do. Many FM's are waiting for me, hehe..
