Didn't even know he was capable of teleporting. He was just roaming the library area here, and, I really had to trigger him to make him follow me. Always jumped on the marble floor, and he slowly crept after me, and then suddenly burst into a maniacal rush, which was when I spent my speed potion, and then I had a hard time getting away from him shortly before entering the wine cellar.
I couldn't really figure out the A.I., to be honest. I could've sworn he's not even able to see me, but just senses me somehow (maybe my blood), and hears me.

Barlowe is stuck hard with bear trap on. Can't get him to THE LOCATION! Had to reload.
BUUUUUUT! I almost shat my pants, when I saw the dark surprise in da FLESH!

Just finished this amazing mission.
I must say this is one of most beautiful little levels ever designed and laid out for Thief 1 or 2.

Just finished in 2hrs 32min with 5205/5260 loot and 3/4 secrets. Finished both optional objectives and freed Agnes. A very nice looking mission with excellent sound design. Not sure I like the gameplay too much in this one, and I don't think the mansion layout was my favorite. Nice to see a different style from Skacky's "usual" city missions. Reminded me a bit of A Midsummer Night's Heist. Will be very tough to ghost this one, but I'll definitely give it my best shot. ;)
Secrets I found:
1. Hidden path from 2nd floor closet up to attic. Alternately you can flip a switch in the attic to slide a cabinet out of the way. Might be a 3rd way into this one also.
2. Purse on a beam in the laboratory.
3. Switch under nightstand in Barlowe's bedroom.
4. ???

It never occurred to me that I'd see the day a Thief fan mission would spool up the fans on a 3080ti =D
This mission is magnificent. I'm actually starting over just to experience more of it; I can see I got to the main event much too soon.

Enjoying this, but seem to be struggling a little.
Playing on expert, have been all over except for 3 doors, to which I presume I need keys: Wine Cellar, Cell Portcullis and Laboratory .
I'm also way down on loot. Where should I go next?
edit: Oh, and I can't get into the Locked gates outside by the boat landing

So far I have just installed it but I am getting a glitch with the shadows if I load a saved game (I quick saved immediately as I usually do).
You can see the shadows on the ground flicker and some missing shadows on the mansion. This doesn't happen with a new game, however.

I have tried doing a fresh installation of TFix 1.28 including ticking the option to install from original media (into a new folder) but I get the same thing.
Any idea what might be causing this? Is it a known bug?

Found the last secret and the remaining loot! I won't spoil it yet, other than to say that it is outside the castle. I actually found an alternate way to this secret first, which I am pretty sure wasn't intended. It involved some extensive acrobatics.
