Hello, here's my new mission called
Reflections in Red. It started as a simple doodling exercise based on (
https://imgur.com/a/qDX4xfo) an etching by Nicolas Delort and using many of my own textures from photographs I took, before evolving into a full-fledged mission. It is a direct sequel to
(https://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=152800) Winds of Misfortune, though it's not necessary to have played this mission to enjoy Reflections in Red.
It is a mission for
Thief 2 1.28. Trying to play it with any prior version will result in a crash to desktop. As such, you have to upgrade using T2Fix 1.28 to play this mission if you haven't.

I've only just dabbled to get a taste. I'll play it this weekend.
But so far... WOW! Absolutely gorgeous!
(For anyone clinging to 1.27: this mission makes updating to 1.28 well worth it.)

So I installed 1.28 but when I start the mission I still get a message in the top saying: Error: HealAfterFlee requires NewDark 1.28 or later.
The mission plays fine though so far, just that message worried me.

Hmm that's not reassuring, I'm not sure it has installed properly if you can see this message.

I didn't use the installer, as it didn't want to run for me. I downloaded the .zip from the original French forum post and unpacked that.
Yeah that message shows every time I reload a save.
Edit: Never mind. Got the TFix Lite installer to work, and now it's all fixed.
What a gorgeous mission so far!
