Very fun mission, I finished it yesterday. I loved how one moment you were in a slightly dilapidated part of town, the next in the fancy district, later in the Mechanist-run museum and THEN in a freaking island of the dead. I really had a good time with this one.

Having fun with this one! Completed the main mission pretty quickly, but now searching for the non-essential stuff.
It's a fairly stress-free stroll now as I've disposed of all the guards in the streets by luring them under various elevators.
However, one thing I seem to be missing is the monocle. Can some one point me in the right direction please.
One thing I notice in the bank, if you frob the safe description plaque, the painting goes back onto the wall!

Oops. I'll clean that up in another bugfix release.
Another bug, that was (unfortunately) discovered during a live stream (very embarrassing :o): If you don't hang around to listen to the statue's full monolog,
you will find yourself condemned to Hell for all eternity.
That will also be fixed in a future release. Until then, don't do that.
As for the monocle,
some ruins in Oak Hollow deserve further investigation.

Thanks, Balboa. got me on my way again.
Calling it a day now, 5 Shrines, 2 Secrets & 6026 loot.
Got the Gems & Wealth of Sarnoff.
Loved the little bits of loot distributed around e.g. the bank clock.
Never did find :
An elevator that wasn't working or
A house with a hole in the roof or
The flooded area
What did I have to do with all those spare parts?
I did manage to roof-hop to the guard over the Old Town gate and also climbed out of the map in the same area by mantling on to a lamp post, then a roof.
One I shall definitely play again when everything has been revealed.
Thanks for all your hard work Balboa.

I keep having an odd issue with this one where everything from Garrett walking to moving the camera around gets very choppy and wonky. I've re-downloaded and re-installed a few times and sometimes it seems to work fine but it happens again after a couple minutes. I've seen some people mention something similar with certain triggers but it seems to be happening randomly near the beginning. I've checked a handful of beefier FMs and they all seem to be working as smoothly as before so I dunno. Very odd.

Very odd.
Yes, very odd. Can I assume you are running V1.1? Where are you seeing this, and doing what?

There are too many genius ideas in this mission to enumerate them all.
Let me just mention a tiny little detail that encapsulates the level of attention to all aspects of this mission: the sound of walking on ceramic roof tiles.
I also appreciated the fact that the puzzles are nontrivial and the secrets are so well hidden in ways beyond the usual. (So nontrivial and so hidden that I had to resort to the hints in this thread at times; I hate doing that)

Put the mask you find in the entry hall on the statue.
Then follow your new objectives.
1.
Return the two chalices that you have. 2.
Follow the caves down to Pandemonium. 3.
Enter and look to the left for a door. 4.
Enter the antechamber of the Lord of the Dead. You don't want to wake him. 5.
You need to find the Book of the Dead, and the Tree of Life. There is a garden to your left, and a throne room to your right. 6.
Don't forget to pick up the third chalice. And so on...
I've done the throne thing, and I guess the garden is in
the gate oppsite, in the hall, that it's not frobbable. Pls spoil me

No, the garden is
on the left of the antechamber of the Lord of the Dead. Look at
the left end of the corridor, before you get to the throne.

Thank you Balboa!
