what a mission! I've completed the surprise trip to the isle of Death and need to finish up in the museum but there are some things puzzling me.
there are a lot of answers in this thread already, so I'm going to ask for hints here so I can try to figure things out:
* I've used the monocle to see Xs by 5(?) artworks, how do I know which order to click them?
* The map calls out roof access, is that possible? where from?
* I found a puzzle in the bank records room, where can I find a clue to the solution?
* I returned the vases to the correct pedestals in the ceramicist's showroom (including replacing the broken one) but the safe didn't open; is there another thing to do?
* I got a Mechanist Spare Parts key back in the first section, where is the door that goes to?
* There is an early clue about a lost torc in the submerged tunnels, how do I get there?

Regarding Number 4 -
I found by accident that for some reason they do not go on the correct pedestals to open the safe. I did it by trial and error.Bigger hint.

I need to go back in as I ended with 5 hammer shrines and a fraction under 6000 loot, so lots more for me to find.
I had 3 glitches that might be worth mentioning (they didn't spoil the mission at all). Quite a few times, Garrett would suddenly go in to creep mode. Holding shift would make him walk at a normal speed (rather than run). One or two reloads would get him back up to normal speed. Near the beginning, in the inn, I couldn't drop a bedroll. Again, reloads worked. Lastly, and quite amusingly, a gentleman and lady floated down from a balcony at one point and then started to shout "Thief". The cosh quietened them down very quickly.

thank you plumph and balboa, I got everything from the museum (except for the
crown on the roof statue - so high up! and maybe something behind a door in the basement?) and have moved back to the bank.

I thought I had checked everything that could be frobbed, but I had not :rolleyes:
now I'm trying to find the submerged tunnels; I have a bunch of mechanist parts but I don't see a place to use them
