Thank you for the mission Niborius, I'm looking forward to part 2. I played on Expert. I too found the voice-over at the intro very quiet compared to the in-game sounds, and the absence of text onscreen could make it difficult for hard-of-hearing players to follow what is being said. Some places (church lobby, a balcony here and there) seemed to suggest rope arrows would have been useful. Otherwise, great!

P.S.: A little nitpicking... If Scorpio swims to the edge of the harbour opposite the
cave with the spiders, there's a large spot where the water surface does not look right (it is more transparent but not blue anymore) and where no swimming sounds can be heard. Not a big deal, since most players might not be interested in swimming there, and it won't break the mission either.
From the docks, if you head to the rocks in the far right corner, you can swim out of the map!

Looking forward to Part 2.
That was fun; Lots of places to explore. Would've liked to get up to some of those balconies too.
Loved the bit where I got locked in the warehouse with the spiders!
Nice (eastern-European?) music, but OMG, the bells, the bells!!!:)

Thank you for the kind words everyone. I read every single post :)
I'm super glad that so far everyone who posted in this thread has enjoyed it a lot, and I appreciate the feedback which can help me with my future missions.
@Frobbin hood: Just before I released it I checked to see if the player still couldn't swim out of the map, and I couldnt (because I added a flow effect to the water). Is the water still in the release version? If so then that is a weird Dromed bug that happened during the latest build.
I also agree that perhaps the bells are perhaps slightly too loud when you are close to them, but in real life they would be even louder. I tried to make it realistic while at the same time not TOO realistic/loud, but I still overdid it a bit.

The water in the channel leading "out" is still flowing towards the player at the end of the channel. The problem is that the player can swim through one of the steep rock walls. It is the one on the left. Swim towards the line where the flowing water does not allow you to proceed any further, then let Scorpio swim a little bit to the left while still swimming against the flow. The player will then slowly slide sideways, reach the rock wall to the left, and then fall or swim through it. After that, the player is "behind the scenes", so to speak, and can even swim to the edge of the water and fall onto a beach with the water towering above, and the black eternity of the universe on the opposite side of the rock walls. Quite a sight, although very weird.:p

The bells did not bother me. And yes, they would be ear splitting in real life. I just turn down the sound a bit during that part of play. It’s not a big deal.
I’ve got a lot going on in the personal world, so I have only played about 20 minutes into the mission. I’m looking forward to hear myself act.
I haven’t gotten to my VO part yet and I am not sure if it is featured in this one. I need to look at the zip file to see. I'm curious which accent version you used for the husband requesting help. I sent you 2 versions. I was more happy with the semi-Spanish “most interesting man on Earth” voice over my natural style. However, even my plain natural voice was a bit dramatized for effect - sort of Captan James T Kirk. It’s fun to do game voices, because one can be a little silly and have some fun with the character. I hope it worked out. I’ll hear it soon enough when I get a chance to play again. So much going on right now. A busy time.
If you need another recording for additional missions, just ping me via PM and I will get you a couple of takes pretty quickly.
Thanks for the new FM, so far it’s fun. :)

Such a fun map, so many places and surprises!

Looking forward to the next chapter!
