So I got to the part with the weird zombie-like creature, and after I kill it, I get the the seal-key (with an on-screen message 'You have earned your sword'), and after that the mission becomes horribly unstable. The savegames from before I kill the zombie are perfect, everything that comes after is corrupted. I have all mods disabled.
This has definitely something to do with the zombie, because I can go anywhere in the mission, but as soon as I kill the zombie, troubles start. Any solutions?

This FM has been quite entertaining and atmosphere has been very enjoyable. Great job PB. :D :thumb::cool:
I have all objectives fulfilled on Expert
but have only round stone keys and would like to know where to use them and obtain the others as well.
The angry haunted red cloud from the young girl painting has already been appeased with a flower and it left a clue about a clocktower for something but I do not remember what it said.
The keys I have were obtained from the invisible zombie in the canals, and another I believe from the fire monk from the tomb access ways.
Is the next key in the clocktower of the gallery? If so, how can I get up there?
I could end the mission just by going back to the attic
, but I would like to get more of those stone keys if I can, and I know there has got to be more loot spread around as well.
BTW, I took the gallery tour
again after most of the nasties had been dispatched. There is hidden button to bring the underworld elevator back up and the tour can be explored again.
I made the elevator buttons more visible in version 1.2 so people could find their way back if needed - glad you found it. ;)
The message from the
red cloud/painting ghost is 'find us where the time meets the sky', which is a clue. Go back to the Sky Pavillion area, and look to the ceiling above the wine counter. A secret panel has opened to the Gallery clocktower. Be sure to explore UP there.
Here are clues where to find all four compass keys:
North: The
Hammerites have sought after a certain book, found in the Gallery. Take it to its proper home.South: Did you
destroy the beastie haunting the southern canals?East: Did you
help the pawnbroker?West: Help the
painter be reunited with Annaliese. Remember the haunted painting in the main Gallery hall? Give the rose to Anna's likeness and a message will appear. Even more:
Think 'sky' - where in the Gallery is this word seen? Also think 'time' - where would a person go to access a large clock at the Gallery?Once all keys are found,
think back to the very beginning of the mission. If you explored the canal at the start, there are Treasures in Water.

Sorry if you are having tech issues with game .. unfortunately I do not know how to fix. In prior posts, some people have fixed issues by making sure they are playing on NewDark 1.24, or disabling any mods, and finally may have to start the mission over. Wish I had more info, but the cause of this is unknown, and it only seems to happen to certain players, only sometimes..

tiny little birds Wow! That's some amazing use of Dromed.
Anyway, some hint as to where to find information on these stone keys and where to place them.
I think I got the moths from Nicked's mission Death's Turbid Veil - a really good mission. We as authors are so lucky to have lots of high quality objects to pick from, thanks to our talented object makers here :)
Glad you are liking it! Oh, and everyone see my reply above for help with the compass keys.

Also thank you Fen for posting your video explorations, I enjoy those almost as much as playing the FMs. :laff: :thumb:
I never experienced the "fun" in this mish because of course in building, there are never any surprises.. so watching Fen play (yes Fen, of course I've been stalking your page lol) is so awesome and fun. :cheeky:
Thank you all so much for playing, and I am still checking in here and there to help if needed.

Took a little break from my campaign to play this a bit. Lots of personality and I'm enjoying it so far. Beginning progress seems to be fairly tightly controlled and is quite tough to ghost. Enjoying it though. I plan to give it another go this evening.
Well done, pukey.

Thank you RT! :) Although I've been told it's
impossible to ghost this one entirely, so just heads up on that. I myself play more a Lytha style, so unintentionally I crafted this one in that sense of gameplay.
Oh.. and
don't stay away from the campaign too long - I'm dying to play Godbreaker :cheeky:

Almost finished. This is a superb mission. Great atmosphere and gameplay. Loved the gallery.:thumb:
Coupla questions...
How do I find out about the statues.
I have one door to unlock - the fish shop. How do I get in there?

Enter the market and follow the only passage to its end. You are now by the spell shop. Look for
some crates and something to open above them.@pukey brunster: I like the new exit from the Tour - a button instead of a self-opening door. This way the back entrance stays open. :thumb:
BTW, did you remove the fishmonger's key (or was I blind this last playthrough)?
