Okay, I seem to be the first one who asks that question, but I'm quite confused of what to do in the underground area beneath the theatre. I'm in the big central, creepy room with the huge upside down structure and some gardens nearby. I could create a bridge using a sword stuck into one of the statues in the lower floors of that structure. I can read some plaques in the surrounding gardens, and then zombies spawn. But I do not really have a sense of what is to be done here, or how to access this strange upside down structure.
Help is appriciated, thank you!

Once you read
the plaques, some more things happen than just some zombies being spawn. Portals (unfortunately only for the flying skulls) open, and some statues rise, beams come from the statues to the central structure - and what one can easily miss is that
some candles do appear. Which brings us to what was detailed (

No Ticky, I'm at the same place and also can't go on.
I really can't see any candles,
Nicked where are they?
I've been everywhere, also in the floor down under the balcony. Al I can do here is fall into the square hole in the floor into the water that will kill me eventually.I so much want to move on, since this really is a great FM!!! Please help me out here.

Find the upside down door above the porch of the central structure. Opposite it there is a chest with rope arrows and a pedestal with candles on it. On the central ring.

What nicked said, but the candles don't appear until
you read the plaques in the zombie gardens.

Thank you all, who helped with the underground area.
Spoilers and 'review' below.
Thank you for such a great mission, nicked! You really take a big part of keeping this unique community alive. See some of my thoughts here about the mission.
Not so long after the mission started out, looking at the tall buildings and the general feel of the city, without wanting to be any kind of a grumpy cat, I thought to myself - that skacky/Melan vibe (I mean there should be a contest where you have to guess the name of their missions just by a golden or silver, very tall wall/tower) is very great, however, probably there are a lot of missions out there by now with that vibe, and they are quite similar to each other (no offense, still amazing works!).
However, after a few turns, it became obvious to me that this is much more, it has the signature nicked vibe, and it's also a bit similar to Cracks in the Glass and the fist mission of the original Knoss mission set. Highly enjoyable and very great vibes somewhere between T1G and T2. I also loved the way the machinery were put to the walls here and there. Mentioning summer in the objectives and some light fog also made me feel like it is actually a humid summer evening.
The pub and the gallery were also small, but amazing additions to this super town.
My order of doing things was Kenington, pub, castle, gallery, castle, and then Theatre. It was lovely to get known to this lunatic lady step by step from the readables and her necromantic home castle.
The theatre - of course - was hell of a place to me. Despite any similarities to the TG Opera House, this has it's own unique vibe, with amazing details and exciting architecture. I loved that there are two bars - one on each floor for the guests. Practicing actors, the run down backrooms, and the main room for the stage and it's lighting were absolutely well done.
After going to the underground area below the Theatre, I had mixed thoughts. I use headphones, with great bass, and an EAX audio card as well. As I went down that long way to the main underground room, I felt tense in a good way. Then, when I saw the big upside-down structure in the middle, and soon got introduced to the zombies and floating skulls, my anti-undead revolutionary soul has awaken in me. I started asking myself - why do such a lot of great missions need to end up in an environment where you are outnumbered by creepy, supernatural powers? Why on earth? Then I quickly realized, that even on highest difficulty level, if the player is clever, these floating skulls can be easily tricked, possibly even ghosted (?). It's strange. As I'm getting older (wow, 36) I prefer to avoid any undead confrontation more and more. Now it made me happy that with clever movement and a couple of rope arrows, you could pull off the job of getting to the crystal quite well.
Then, this is the part when I would like to especially thank the author, Nick for being generous for two reasons
1) creating lots of shade near the crystal
2) Not spawning a military of haunts and other undead RIGHT after stealing the crystal.
These two were honestly generous and made the game well playable even for people who doesn't really prefer great amounts of undead.
The ending and the layout/atmosphere of the antiques shop were also really easy to like - great quality design.
A few lines above I was talking about bass - huge thank you for the superb ambient sounds, especially throughout the city (Eclipsed, anyone? :), the theatre and the underground area. NICE! :)

Well done, nicked! I'm a sucker for a good rooftop mission and this one had enough thieves' highway routes to satisfy me. :cheeky:
Also, that underground city was breathtaking, as well as the creepy upside-down mansion! I saw a few references throughout the mission to some sort of lost gems and I wonder if you can find them somewhere as an optional objective? I'll have to replay it and find out.
Anyway, it's a thumbs up from me! :thumb:

Thanks for the list. I still can't find #7 - is this house Lord Biffringham's, with the note about Lady Emily?
Can't find a room matching that description in there, same with Lord Kenington's.
