With an OK installation of this FM the doorway is ungated if you run there from the start doing nothing else on the way.

You mean to say the correct way to complete A Rift In The Loot as Part 1 of a 2 part mission, is to go directly to the vase and retrieve it, triggering the capture? I started a new game to test, and sure enough, the accessway was ungated. So going through the exercise of picking up all the loot and finding all the secrets results somehow in being unable to complete the level.
That is bizarre.
btw....Replaying the 2nd mission, my loot issue resolved itself, but I still can't get the vault to open. I had a different code this time, but no results. Also, the secret under the platform of the broken elevator is still unresolved (no loot + no secret triggered).
The screwy part of it all is, I haven't read of anyone else having these problems. The next thing to do is to completely delete this fan mission and re- download it. I don't know if I want to do that just now. Best to leave it for another day.

No, I didn't say what you say I meant to say. :p
There is something wrong with your set-up. My method was a quick test to check if all is OK when you start. Something goes wrong later but it only happens to you.

Ok...I'll jot that down as spooky weirdness and leave it at that. Thanks for your patience ffox.

Just surfacing from this incredible mission to take a breath and say....WOOO HOOO!!!!:cheeky:
Did this author make other FM's? Because this is just about the best undead mission I've played.

Fraser - Gregorius also made Fate Of The Art (C5) (but no undead involved) & Just Another Hole (but I can't remember this one at all :erg: ).

Oh, what an awesome mission! I would love to actually FINISH it but Dromed has to constantly crash on me. I was once about to save and Dromed crashed the second I hit "save".
No more save point.
Start again from the beginning.
Nope, I am not even going to bother with this mission. Stupid Dromed and computers. I guess Windows was not meant to run programs.

DromEd?? Erm, one usually starts missions with Darkloader or Garrettloader, not with the mission editor (DromEd)...?:erm:

Gregorius also made
Fate Of The Art (C5) (but no undead involved) &
Just Another Hole (but I can't remember this one at all :erg: ).
Just another hole is a small mission where Garrett flees from something, and accidentally falls into a cave occupied by Mechanists. There's not much to to there and the play area is small, so you can't make any big mistake by downloading and playing it.
Fate of the Art is funny, short and more interesting than
Just another hole. I can recommend it as well.
Other undead missions which "felt similar" to
Dancing with the Dead for me were "Dark Messiah" AKA "Bassilus", and "Insurrection" (the one which is
not part of the
Keeper of the Prophecies series), but these were not made by Gregorius, AFAIK. Play at your own risk.:p
