Loved this mission. Thank you for letting me find a Dewdrop dolly!!! :thumb:
I never had trouble playing this game, just didn't find all of the secrets. :eww: Better next time .........

GC - You are welcome! You know, for some reason, every mission I play I always look for "Dewdrop". Ha Ha:)
Thanks to everyone for your comments. I'm sorry for some duplications of objects, and the water problem?:weird: I don't know what to think about the water problem; but please know that this mission was intensly played to try to find bugs. The only problem I have is that I only have one computer set up, and with all of the differant video cards, set up's, memory, speed, etc.; alot of these things might have been cured, if I had more than one system.
Overall, I did the best I could and anything that my Beta Testers found, I corrected immediately. So; when my sequel is ready, please note that I'll do my best to have it as good as possible. You'll note that I didn't say perfect, cuz' in Dromed or as I like to say, Drozilla, nothing is perfect, is it?
Happy New Year to all of you.:thumb:

I've ghosted everything so far except for a few areas where a minor error by CID made ghosting impossible. CID, next time you beta test, get Peter Smith or me to ghost-test for you!
1. In two places, progress was blocked by boards that had to be sword-smashed. This is a ghost bust (destruction of property); but there is no reason not to make the boards frobbable -- it's the equivalent of Garrett realizing that he can quietly pry them loose without smashing them up. Either that or remove them entirely, or replace them with a hatch-type door.
2. In the vault, to get the ring, Garrett must actually jump noisily into the water below the lift. But you could as easily have made the ring frobbable from the floor -- meaning Garrett was able to reach his arm down into the water and grab the ring.
Other than these, the rest was quite ghostable... even the loot behind the bar in the big, brightly lit pub! (That one required some heavy-duty and nerve-wracking nudging of the bluecoat, but I managed to do it without alerting him.)
Note to john9818a uptopic: using water arrows is not per se a ghost bust, so long as you don't alert anyone. You're thinking of "Supreme Ghost."
However, I don't know where the park is; could somebody direct me? Thanks.

Hard to believe it was your first FM as it was so good !
You even put in those lights that come on when you enter the room !
I like first FM's because they always have lots of loot (even in toilets) and lots of secrets :-)
Great job C.I.D. !

 Anybody know where the
ring
is?? I think it's in the
basement
, but where??
Never mind! I found it.
This is a very good FM!

I don't know if anyone else has experienced this problem since dl'ing this game, but I can't get it to run in either GL or DL. I even went through the trouble of unistalling both & then reinstalling them, even deleted the 1st time I dl'd the game & re-dl'd it from CheapMissions. I can get to the objectives & then to the weapons shop, but once I click on "Play Mission" it shuts down. I tried to play another mission, but when I install the other mission, the title comes up for this game, but the objectives are for the newly installed game. When I try to play the newer game, I have no sound. I tried to install the OMs, but neither GL or DL will let me get past this game.
I just wanted to see if anyone else had complications playing this mission, and if so, how they fixed it. Thanks for any help with this problem.

Thanks, SirFreddieM; I found it right after I posted the question... as it happens, I had been there before; I just didn't know that was the park!
I've completed every task (including two bonus objectives) except loot: I'm still about 300 short of finishing and 1,200 short (!) of the max.
I think I have all the secrets: it only shows 3 out of 4 possible, but I came into the president's office through the secret -- which doesn't seem to trigger it.
I must have missed some huge caches of loot... can anyone suggest anything?
Thanks,
Dafydd

Well I have done everything except find the hand that feeds. I know its
somewhere in the room with the haunt. Opened the chest and found the parchment. Even looked for any switches and in the broken chest.
And I have searched everywhere, and looked closely. Any help is appreciated!

P.S. Can not wait for the sequel.
Did you look in the small, walled in section in the park? If you're standing by the ladder in the canal, just look past the canal a little to your right & you'll see it. Go round the half-wall & you'll find a small opening that you can crawl into. Go to your left and on the left wall you'll see a small secret door that opens into another crypt area. I chose not to explore that area, but if the hand isn't in with the haunt, it's probably there. Maybe.
I never got that objective; maybe because I 'd already met all the objectives except finding a way out, so
I decided to consider the haunt/crypt areas optional and steered clear of them.
All in all, it was extremely good for a first FM! I only experienced one little bug: the water in the canal disappeared from sight when I went back there a 2nd time; it was still there when I jumped in - I just couldn't see it. But it didn't distract from my overall enjoyment. I especially liked the fact that you could do a a fair amount of exploring, even if it did take you to
some rather spooky areas. So I don't like haunts, ghosts, or the undead - so what! :p
Once again, these were optional for me, so I chose to ignore them.
Good work, Todd! I'm really looking forward to your next FM.
