I just played this mission - MASTERPIECE! I was delighted the whole time. The music and gameplay really took me back to my youth playing nintendo RPGs like Ultima and Dragon Warrior. Everything was pretty much foolproof, which is how the old games were, and I greatly appreciate all the behind-the-scenes work that went into making it that way. Very very well done, and very enjoyable! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

after a ridiculously long break (back when I played it I got stuck at the wizard's tower but lol this time it took me 1 minute knowing the same amount of info to get out) I came back and yay - finished the mission. To my surprise there was a 2nd mission. But, alas, what's this? After the missino complete video and stat screen I click continue and it throws me ack to my menu. No mistaking it. Tried it again and again, but to no avail.
So I don't know - has anyone else had this error? I'm not patient nor fast-reading enough to scroll through all these pages, so can anybdoy tell me what's the deal? Adorable mission all in all, wanted to finish all of it.
EDIT: Ahh, leaped to page 8 and there was the answer. I DLed this so long ago but I thought I had the newest version. Oh well.

Ah, glad you found the answer! Unfortunately this does mean you'll need to play through the whole bloody thing again.
Sorry :erm:

Aw, that's no problem! Since I finished the whole mission and care not for the time stats (tho apparently it did take 2 hours which seems like a lot since i did the last 30% today a lot quicker I think) I can just alt+ctrl+shift+end to the next mission :)

Well that was absolutely awesome. :)
I can't imagine a better game for chidlren than this. Such a moce fairytale story wrap-up too. 'Tis heartwarming

I'd love to play this one, but all the AI are standing around with their arms out to the sides. They don't move, but I can converse with them. Also my rope arrows won't work. Could this be a script problem? I haven't had problems with any other fms like this.

I'd start by making sure the files gen.osm and motiondb.bin exist in your Thief2 directory.

Thanks, Haplo! motiondb.bin was missing! :weird: I wonder where it went?
ps: You've been on my mind since yesterday when I came across that special file you sent so I could play your fm - I'm looking forward to dedicating some time to it this weekend. :D

I read through threads on this before, some time back, and still am stuck in the guy's tower.
I ran into the guy that says he went 3 directions and never made it out. I never made it out.
Can anyone give me a pointer or two? There is that servant or "captive" that tells me he went 2 or 3 ways and never made it.
I go the way he did not and I keep going in circles.
thank you.
