Durinda D'Bry, поподробнее, какой именно сэйв тебе нужен.
Thank you for the response. I think I was little bit crazy to say I need that save - I could get to
condemned building without problem if play just from the starting point.

OUTSTANDING FM!!!
Seriously, I loved the layout and the tons and tons of routes to explore into the many different buildings. Loved going down the waterfalls at the beginning. Loved the inclusion of a secret keepers library as well. The body in the chest, the creepy noises at the bottom of the one elevator shaft, all that had me pretty freaked out! Always like hearing the original Thief music. Nice backstory without overwhelming us with readables. In my opinion, an improvement over Bad Debts (which was nice itself).
I don't generally like city missions, but this one really worked well.
EXCELLENT WORK!
QUESTION: In the area near the keepers library, there was a sewer door with a lever and a series of four rotating switches. When I first touched one, Garrett said something about it not having worked for a long time. Was this some kind of puzzle to open that door? I flipped switches for awhile with no results, just wondering if there is a puzzle there to figure out, or just random switches?

taffedinthehead -- thanks, and...
the four valves are a red herring

Sorry if this has been asked before -- what a long thread this is! -- but how on earth does one get to the cup on the high ledge across from the standing guard in the Marketplace I tried using a rope arrow on the window box just around the corner from the Market, near the start of the mission, but the arrow doesn't come down even halfway. I also tried jumping across from the upper roofs above the guard, but couldn't do it.
I'm at 2,200 loot and just abut to run through everything a second time to get my remaining loot requirements, but it irks me to see that nice stuff just sitting up there waiting to be snatched up. I can't stand leaving it there.
What a great mission.

Hi Fraser,
Here is how you do it.
You need access to the house from the wooden window box that you mentioned. There is a bridge there. Go to the ledge of the bridge on the right, directly below the window box. Shoot your rope arrow to hit the top ledge of the box. The rope should extend pretty much all the way down. Jump into it and go all the way to the top. SIDE TRIP: There is a very narrow ledge to the right of the window box. Quicksave, jump on this ledge, walk, and you will find yourself on a wider ledge with windows. The one on the right has 3 coins worth 15 on the window sill. If you don’t care about the 15 loot, jump through the window box. You will find yourself in an attic. On the side of the horizontal beam all the way to the right, there is switch that will get you access to the house. On the top floor of the house, there is a guy patrolling with a lantern and a sword. He patrols between a semi-lighted room and a dark corridor with two statues and a door on the right wall. Bonk him. When you open the door, you can grab a large brass ring/torc worth 300 or so (after you grab it, a trap will shoot violet bullets parallel to the door inside the room, but it is easily avoidable).
Directly across this door there is a window that opens. Go through it and you will find yourself on a small triangular ledge above the market. To your left, lean over frontally and a bit to the right, and you can grab the cup you want. Inside the house, you will find a small golden drinking cup in a bedroom with a sleeping woman, and a key (on the table as you enter from the attic). The key will open the front door on the ground floor, and you will find yourself back in the market place with the stationary guard. And you are right, it is great mission. I spent 8 hrs and 29 min on normal in order to savor it.
Hope my directions help.
Best,
AndrewPhD

Thanks, Andrew. True to form, I actually figured out how to get through that window byshooting three increasingly higher rope arrows up at the window and swinging up and over. Much to my delight I found enough crates to get into the library. Of course, now I can't get OUT of there, but that's another story.:cheeky:

Thank you!
Wonderful mission - with a Thieves' Highway at its heart. One of the best I've played this year. :thumb:

all stocked up on rope arrows, anti vertigo meds taken, looks like I am ready to take Garrett on another up and down, in and out, back and forth romp thru town! :cheeky:
(jus wish i coulda picked up a few slowfalls at the shop!) :erg: :o :laff:
gee, jumping off from eagle head statues, walking up large metal chains; Garrett really ought to find a woman, have a passel of kids, train em, and start his own aerialist troupe "The Flying Taffers"!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
hee hee, permanent rope arrow anyone? - retrieved one while still on the rope, not TOO far off ground, expected to take one or two shields of damage - BUT - the arrow was retrieved AND THE ROPE REMAINED!!!! lol!
------------------------------------------------------------
hahah! anyone wanna spend 15 minutes and get about 50 free broadhead arrows? :sly:
(can't dodge an arrow my arse!) :p

Yes, this time, you
can get through every door that's not just a texture.

That's a matter of taste, but the lower city is more slummy, so probably not. ;)
